Fit is slightly different.
It doesn’t fit exactly the same as the original, but the original was in pretty poor condition. After having used it for over a week, it fits great.

I've purchased this twice very poorly made lasts maybe 10 uses at most
The gasket falls out and as other have said it is a poor fit. This is a case of you get less than you pay for some how. I wasn't expecting LG quality, but I did expect more durability than a couple weeks of use. Junk unfortunately.

Good value AND fits 2006 LG Dryer Model #DLG5988W (not listed)
I own a 2006 LG front loading dryer, Model #DLG5988W. My dryer lint screen developed a small hole a long time ago, but it's grown larger now over time; it occurred to me that could be a fire hazard someday. I looked on the LG website, but couldn't tell if the replacement part was suitable for my dryer model. So, I went to Amazon and found this item. It doesn't list my particular Model #, but it included one very similar in number (only the last letter was different). When I saw the product photos looked identical to mine, verified the measurements were the same, and realized that "Free Returns" was offered, I decided to take a chance and buy it. **SO glad I did!** It fits perfectly, costs half the price of the LG lint screen, and the mesh of the screen is a tighter weave than my previous lint screen. I'm hoping that means it will catch finer pieces of lint.

Not OEM
Definitely not as sturdy as the Original. However, it works fine and is a whole lot cheaper. 5 stars if the above doesn't matter that much.

Fit smaller
Not the true fit like the original. It is a bit smaller and it fits looser in the slot than the original. It is a ok replacement. If you are in a bind it is ok, if you can get the original I would suggest that.

Fits great
Works well. Doing what it should and catching lint. This one even matches my machine color.

It didn't hold up
It last about 2 months then it started to come apart.

Absolute Junk. Do NOT Buy.
Felt gasket arrived unsecured from frame and tore off after two uses. Landfill material, which is sad.
