Mardingtop 25 Liter Daypack for Outdoor Climbing School-5964

The best travel purchase I have made. Just returned from a Caribbean cruise and glad I upgraded. A backpack is a definite must while cruising or for day trips. Also a perfect carry on for the plane. Easily carried two rolled blankets, neck pillows (OSSM comfort memory foam), iPad, phones, munchies and two 1 litre water bottles. During the excursion was able to carry everything I needed and had room for purchases in town. Plenty of pocket space, lockable storage if needed and easily accessible front zippered pocket for small items. The built in rain cover was a pleasant surprise but not used. The backing was soft and comfortable and breathed well during hot, humid weather. Could probably hold a 13in laptop but woul not suggest overloading with more than one bulky textbook. Probably more of a daypack for soft items like beach towels, change of clothes, bug spray, tanning oil, camera, etc.

See my review on the 30L as well. Good overall bag. Love the raincover built in, the front access pocket and the top load. Wish it had a belly band on the 25L like on the 30L. would come in useful for my son. The side pockets hold the 32oz Nalgenes, which is impressive since most smaller bags fail at this. The shoulder straps, sternum straps and lower tether points are excellent. Wish there were some upper tether points, as it would be nice to have better options in rigging a hiking chair to the bag vertically instead of only horizontally. For the price, very happy. Just wish some minor tweaks to make it perfect.

I love this pack. It is fairly light, has an outstanding computer pocket, somewhat durable, and exactly the size I need. It has an odd semi-open compartment in the front, which gave me pause when buying it (I think it can be used to hold a bike helmet). I never use that compartment, but it is of no problem. It can integrate a water bag too. The one issue some may have with it is it has only one zippered pocket that is moderately small -- perfect for a wallet, cell phone, keys, glasses, etc.

I picked up this pack because of the price, good reviews and how well it looked. I have not purchased a cheaper pack in a long time, mostly using weekend packs. I needed something that would be easier to grab on day hikes. I am very impressed with the quality of this pack and how well it looks. I have taken it on a few 5-10 mile hikes already and I have had no issues at all. It vents well and keeps my back cool during those hot moments. I do wish it had an opening for a water bladder, though.

Good bag. I've had it for a while now, and used it as a daily commuter bag to and from work, as well as on a few hikes, and aside from being a little dirty is no worse for the wear. I figured a cheap bag would fall apart pretty quickly, but this has held up well.

UPDATE: I basically use this as a lunchbox and I must say it is pretty low quality. Very flimsy and pretty low quality components - you get what you pay for so as long as you aren't expecting much this is fine.ORIGINAL POST:Decent quality, especially for the price. The color doesn't exactly look like the pictures (the gray is much lighter than expected).Probably wouldn't use it for hiking but it is fine for transporting my things to and from work.

Love this pack I got it for my 3rd grade son he loves the color even though it's not true red. It has a cover that also goes over the entire pack to keep it dry in the rain, it has tons of room and lots of pockets. Would definitely buy again and you CAN NOT beat the price it has a very thick woven quality.

Well made and roomy but i'm giving 3 vs 5 stars because color shown in amazon photo here, is a gorgeous maroon. I ordered this bag expecting the same, and color in person is actually more of a burnt sienna type of red. Not the same as photo. I'm gonna return it, it was for my bf, looks a bit feminine for him though. Otherwise, the quality of the bag is excellent. Durable, nice-looking bag. Color is misleading..
