I bought this picnic blanket earlier this Spring. I got overwhelmed with choices and actually bought like five, and in the end I kept this one because it was a good size for 2 people and I liked the texture. This past summer, I've used it practically every other day - mainly in the park, on the grass; and several times at the beach. I've come to be really happy with my choice. Here's why:1) It is easy to carry on my shoulder and doesn't add much weight when already weighed down by beach/picnic stuff.2) Both the top and bottom are quite resistant to dirt and moisture. It's pretty clean after laying on the grass with all kinds of twigs and dirt patches and wet spots; and it doesn't soak thru!3) It washes very well, and dries quickly when draped over a row of chairs. I also tried tumble drying it on low a couple of times, and didn't have a problem.4) I'm 5'6" and my boyfriend is 6' and the length is good for us, as well as the overall size.5) It truly is easy to fold, even in the wind and when you're in a hurry. Very straightforward.6) Despite its water resistant quality, it doesn't have any of the crinkly interior that some of the other picnic blankets I ordered had. And the stitching is of high quality, especially given the price. The layers do not move around on each other; it feels solid and stays put.7) Lastly, it's smart that the blanket folds with the bottom layer ending up on the outside. Other people took issue with that. But think, that way the part you're laying on will stay cleaner no matter where you place the blanket. (If you're a city person who ends up putting lots of your belongings on the ground throughout the day, you'll get this.)My one complaint would be this: I wish the velcro strip were wider. There have been times when I was carrying it on my shoulder that the velcro came undone and the blanket unraveled right behind me. If I really wanted to, tho, I could fix this by adding a strip of my own.So bottom line, if you're also feeling overwhelmed by the selection of picnic blankets out there: Buy this one. It'll serve you well.

I had a blanket like this one for years until someone in my household used it when they changed the oil in one of our cars. So, now it's banished to the garage and I ordered a new one for myself. This is a lovely blanket and so convenient to have in the car. We've used it on the beach and for picnics or just sitting in the grass. I love that it folds up easily and has the zipper and handle to keep it contained.On a side note, it washes and dries well. I couldn't get the grease stains out of it, but those kinds of stains don't come out anyway. It's clean and still serviceable and useable and in great shape, I just wanted a new one for our non-automotive purposes!

We purchased this blanket to keep in the car for picnics at the park or at the beach, and it was important for it to have a waterproof bottom (in case of dampness), and for it to be machine washable. Per the description the bottom part is said to be waterproof; we haven’t been sitting on any damp surfaces but it looks pretty water-tight. The blanket looks nice, I like that you can fold it into a little carry-case, and it was large enough for two people to spread out comfortably and have a meal. I looked at a ton of beach blankets on Amazon before choosing this, and another brand. Be aware that many of them aren’t washable; they recommend spot cleaning instead, and you really have to dig into the reviews and descriptions to find out. But if the blanket is going to be on the ground, and you’re going to be eating on it, it better be machine washable. This one says it is, and although I haven’t washed it yet, it looks sturdy, and I think it’ll hold up fine. I may try to hang dry instead of using the dryer to extend its life. Will update review if I have any issues after washing a few times.

I know it has measurments... but it doesnt seem like its as big as i was expecting. Its length of a twin size bed. But a bit wider. I really was expecting something closer to a queen size or a king size matt. This is not it.But its super soft, super thic, water proof and sand proof.Going to buy a second one and maybe sew them together on one side so its a large as i actually want lol

We used this at Disney Not so spooky Halloween party when watching the show at the castle. We got there a little bit early, found a nice spot right in front of one of the fences and spread this beautiful blanket out. To be honest it was quite large, so we ended up having to fold it in half so that we wouldn’t take up any of the walkway, it was literally a blessing to have with us after walking the park all day. Once the show was over it was easy to fold back up, lightweight and stored under our stroller with ease. When we arrived home, I washed the blanket held up well. Great product for the money.

There are a variety of designs to choose from but I chose “Leaf Pattern.” It’s perfect for outdoor play, eating (waterproof and easy clean-up), and relaxing, especially with it being rather large at 79”L x 59”W. We’ve primarily used it for picnics and the beach. It was nice to have when we had babies, because they loved to be outside and this blanket was padded enough where nothing underneath would poke through. We'd bring out their baby toys and books to spend an entire afternoon outside. They loved it! It’s fairly easy to fold, as long as you follow the creases. I always keep it in the car because you never know when you’ll need it. Bonus! We’ve used it to get nice pictures of our littles, since it can act as a ground-type backdrop, too. Highly recommend!

Large blanket for the beach. Great for sand. it slides right off. Very happy with purchase. We use it around the pool on the hot concrete. Its a great purchase.
