Excellent Kick-bike!
Since a very bad skateboarding injury I've been looking for a fun way to keep the same type of outdoors fun and exercise in my life without the use of a skateboard. When a traditional bicycle wouldn't do (knee pain with each rotation of the pedals) and the idea of skateboarding only making me sick, I decided to start looking into kick-bikes. I looked around a while until finally discovering this kick-bike and I'm glad I held out for this one. It is incredibly well made, surprisingly accommodating for a man my size (6' 7 tall and 260 lbs) and looks great too!Something to note, the "minimal assembly" that's stated in the description is not as minimal as you may think. I imagined maybe the front wheel wouldn't be attached for the sake of fitting everything in a box to ship, but to my surprise I received a box of parts. Personally I didn't mind this, but if you're expecting to get a ride-able bike out of the box or perhaps considered buying this as a gift for someone, but have physical limitations and would be unable to build a bike out of parts yourself it's worth keeping in mind this will be a bit of a build project. That said, I couldn't be happier with this kick-bike! It rides incredibly smooth and is well built. As mentioned in the description, it does ride very low. Most speed tables (the large long speed bumps) are no problem, but gutter to sidewalk transitions and common speed bumps are going to cause you to bottom out a bit and even possibly dead-stop which may lead to some minor injuries. On the plus side, the bike will be fine because it's all steel so no worries there!

Very nice kick scooter bike with some minor issues
I love Amish made products and glad I found this. High quality. Only issues I came across was that the back tire rubbed against the metal part. I had to bend the metal part to make more room for the tire so it didn't touch. A second minor issue was the handle covering...need some oil to slip them on. Third minor issue was that it does not have a kick stand which would have been nice. I spent a whopping 403.70 on this scooter bike after taxes were added. A kickstand would have been a plus. A fourth issue was the platform you stand on....only room for one foot. I was riding and tried to put both my feet on it and no room. This scooter bike is slightly smaller than I imagined, but it's still cute and fun to ride. I love the basket. So these were the issues which is why 4 stars instead of 5.

It is low to the ground. It scrapes on the threshold but it is fun to ride
Love it

Gonna give this a try read on
I just ordered the large size 24" wheel version of this from another site. I don't have it yet. So why am I writing this?I used to be a very avid bicyclist. But its a dangerous sport if road riding because of traffic.I looked at E-bikes and thought: too much money and not enough exercise. And boy do I need some exercise.I like walking, but its a little on the boring side.So I ran across these adult scooters and got curious.I first looked at the Schwinn. Good for dog pulling, but not as good for foot power and here's why:If you'll notice in the photos of them and these, these are much lower to the ground, so really just for pavement but the low height is for a reason! On the Schwinn, you have to bend a knee to kick it because of it's ground clearance. This is bound to be tuff for an extended ride. That's why these Amish types are so low. It makes for a natural posture when kicking. Of course the ground clearance could be an issue on anything but fairly smooth pavement but I'm in the city so it should be fine. It costs twice as much as the Schwinn but I think the difference will be born out by quality American build and the low clearance. And this has the basket which the Schwinn doesn't have. Will I look dorky on this? Probably, but I'm too old and obstinate to care!I will update this review when I've ridden this a few weeks.
