Sony DCC-E34CP Car Connecting Pack

Works good. Sound is load im able to connect to my android phone to hear music in the car but it drains my car battery if i leave it in all day

I’m not very good with electronics like this so I’m not sure if there’s a different issue or if it’s the adapter. I drive a 2004 Lexus GS300 which is very close to new in terms of use. I also have an iPhone 12 which could also be an issue because it’s a significantly newer device. Anyways I put the cassette in and plugged my phone in and the audio was pretty bad. It was scratchy and statick. Again I’m not very good with this sort of stuff so it may not even be the cassette itself because I’ve seen very good reviews, but I might be looking to find a different product :(

This kit worked perfectly the first 2-3 times. Then the cassette adapter fritzed. To hear any sound at all, I had to turn up the volume full blast on both the CD player and the car cassette deck. Even then, highway speeds drowned out the sound. The sound was unbalanced between the speakers, coming out much more strongly from the right than the left. And the sound quality was horrible -- fuzzy, with a strong, deep, buzzy hum. I expected better of Sony. I bought a Maxell adapter and I have had no problems with it. Forget Sony and look elsewhere.

The connection pack was exactly what I was looking for.I have a classic van with original cassette player.I love my cd's and the connection pack allows me to use my walkway through the original stereo and then unplug and go back to original at car shows.Works great for my purposes.

I gave as a gift ,so I do not know how it performed sorry I will have to ask and see how they are doing with it,Thank you Doug Owen.

Thanks to this simple do-dad, I can listen to my iPod with the car speakers, it takes up very little space and sounds crystal clear!

I have heard of other kits like this having problems so I went and got the slightly more expensive Sony brand. I thought it might also work better with my Sony brand Discman. Really the only complaint is the power cord. It doesn't plug well into the cd player. I had to end up using a rubber band to keep it the power going to the unit. Even then if you move the cd player much you still have to adjust the power cord to get it to play again. I just thought since both were Sony brand that they should work a lot better together than they did.
