Perfect replacement, read review for notes, this isn't for little kids to replace....
Cracked my screen, touch screen function would only work in one spot PRIOR to repairingโฆ. You WILL need gloves and a non-dusty area to work in, and about 30-60 minutes to spare, and a hair dryer, doesn't matter what kind. Only one of the screw drivers will work for the 520, its the smallest, be careful NOT to strip the screws when removing them, be gentle I had a tough time getting the screw drivers to fit the screw heads properly but it worked good enough without stripping.... The 5 screws around the back side edge of the phone are the longest screws, remove them and you will see 3 more middle screws, they are smaller, DO NOT LOSE TRACK of where they go!!! 3 shorts screws In the middle, 5 long ones along the edge... After that, the entire phone is just held together by clips. Inside your order you will find many tools to wedge into the side of the phone, DO NOT PRY the phone a part by hand! Instead just wedge the tool in, and slide it along the edge and it will unclip itself, then remove the back side cover.... Next you will see the internals, and two orange colored wires which are plugged into TWO separate spots, up top and bottom.... You unplug them, then simply pull the green board out of the phone, its only be held in by Two clips so this is simple. Next is the make or break moment. You cannot afford to mess this up so listen to me carefully unless you want to buy a new frame and lcd screen... Remove the LCD, CAREFULLY, from the frame, its kind of clipped onto it. Do NOT touch the lcd screen with your fingers, so you need gloves here, you've been warned... Next YOU NEED to HEAT FRAME of the phone up with your hair dryer for about 2 minutes, this loosens up the glue underneath so that you can safely remove the frame from the digitizer glass. Also if your glass is shattered, place tape over the screen so that the frame comes off in one signle piece... If you do not heat up the frame, odds are you will BREAK the frame in pieces attempting to get it of the digitizer glass..... So take your time here, and be careful what you touch, I recommend setting the lcd in a secluded, clean area. Once you successfully remove the frame, use the flat head tiny screw In the box, to CAREFULLY scrape up the old black glue along the edges of the frame, YOU MUST DO THIS, if not your touch screen will not work properly if at all.... Once you get done scraping the old glue, take your brand new digitizer, and find the back, which is covered in blue film, remove this blue film (BE CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH THE BACK THIS IS NEW GLUE AND IS VERY STICKY) Then simply insert the digitizer onto the frame and press GENTLY with gloved hands, the clip your lcd screen back onto the frame. From there its simple, put the green electronic board back in, plug BOTH sides of the digitizer in, and from there I'm pretty sure you'd know how to put the phone back together. There are literally only like 4 pieces on the entire phone to take off, so it isn't hard at all. If you do all of this correctly, your screen should be working like normal.

Worked well!
The packaging was surprisingly good - the glass part was protected by bubble wrap in a cardboard box that also had the tools. What the photos don't show here is there are two plastic screen protector like layers for each side of the digitizer. The first one is meant to go on the inside of the thin plastic frame and has a continuous adhesive strip to stick to that frame. When I lifted this first plastic layer off to start the repair, the adhesive strip came off with it so I had to completely take the adhesive strip out and patiently attach it to the plastic frame first and then add the glass on top of that. This also required any leftover adhesive from the previous assembly to be removed first. After that it was smooth sailing by following the iFixIt guide. The tools fit properly - no complaints at all. Reasonable price and fairly well made product.

it worked but the screen didnt last long, i replaced the one in my phone and then a couple days later i had tossed my phone into my purse and a guess a pen poked threw the screen and shattered it, but the screen wasnt glass either it was some flexable plastic stuff, bc i was able to grab on the broken pieces and pull and bend them idk it worked for the firast couple days before it cracked again.

I think it may be a good screen it was easy to replace and it worked well before I dropped it next day and that was it. Cant fault it for my clumsiness.

The glass was easy to install and fit the ports appropriately
The glass was easy to install and fit the ports appropriately, but the screen itself is not the proper size for the phone. It's about a quarter inch too short. I'm not sure if I got a wrong part or not, but I can't return it because I already installed it on a phone. I'll have to buy another one somewhere else.
