I ordered them and about 2 weeks later they were delivered. There were 14 treads in the box, but they must have been somewhere damp, as they were not flat when I opened the box, some of them were curling up from the back edge. I'm hoping that I don't have to attach strips of heavy duty D/S tape to the rear underside later.I painted the stairs with a basic white emulsion and thought it was all dry when I laid the treads down, but I was wrong. At least I have a spare tread to replace the one I've spilt paint on while I wash the paint off.It took me 5 hours from start to finish - most of that time was waiting for the paint to dry. I laid them by eye, so didn't mark the position of where each tread needed to be on the stairs, so they're not identically placed, but that's fine, my place is odd anyway. Laying all the treads only took about 20 minutes and I could use them straight away.The only tread that moved at all, was the bottom one which I forgot to take the backing paper off, so it wasn't stuck down, but all the others were fine. I think they look really good and I'm pleased with them.There are a couple of drawbacks though;- They are a bit on the pricey side for stair carpet, baring in mind if you have a long staircase you'll need more than one pack.- They came with a reinforced 90° pre-bent front upright piece and whilst the reinforcing is great, the front of my stairs is a standard rounded 'C' shape, rather than 'L' shaped like these are. So these are more suited to industrial stairs than domestic stairs.Other than that, these are great.

I am happy with them. I ordered the wrong size at first but the seller replaced them with the right size.Very helpful when I got in contact with them.I have used then over my stair carpet but added extra double sided tape at the round tip for extra support.They would be fine if on a hard floor surface imo, but I think the Seller/Makers of them would benefit in sales better if they changed the self Adhesive Pads to a Good Strong Quality Velcro for ease of washing in the washing machine.Although the adhesive has worked fine on my stair carpet for now, (Not really for sticking on carpet, fyi, but I just got them for temporary use.)If I need to I will add velcro to them after the use of the strips on them has used up.They are a nice feel on the bare feet and well made.

The quality is as expected and the treads look nice on the stairs. Easy to fit although I had to use more adhesive as the double sided sticky tape wasn't adequate. Also two of the treads were marked. I used one hoping the mark will come out with wear, the other cannot be used because it's a hole in the fabric. Poor quality control !!!! Luckily I only needed 14 treads.I’ve updated my feedback because I received an email from the company that supplied the treads. They offered me a full refund or replacement of the treads. I opted for the replacements. I only expected two replacements, I received a full set.VERY good after sales. VERY pleased.Thank you

I was a bit concerned when I ordered them that the adhesion might not be the best on a staircase. We have an oak staircase and the dogs sometimes slip so I thought these would help. Also useful for dampening the sound too.I didn't put one of the tiles on exactly straight and I tried to move it, not a chance the adhesion is amazing to there are no issues there. The alignment is only slighty out so I can live with it.No ensure you get them in the right place before you attach.

I set about decorating my hall and landing. deciding on a laminate floor for both landing and hallway: it left me wondering what to put on the staircase. It had been knocked about a bit over the years, but I decided to go ahead and completely paint it. After two full undercoats and glosses. I was browsing the web for carpet options for it and came across these carpet stair treads. They were easy to fit and choosing brown, it blended in beautifully with the laminate flooring. Hard waring: the staircase looks as if it has just been fitted, inspite of the beating it has taken over the years. So far I have found it easier to keep clean, requiring a hoover down and a quick dusting with a damp cloth. I can thoroughly recommend these pads for easy servicing and appearance.

The media could not be loaded.  Love these stair carpet treads. Made a big difference to my old knackered stairs. Feels lovely underfoot. As described, I cant fault them. Just peel and stick, simple yet beautiful. I added glitter to my stair risers for extra effect.I just used Wilko brilliant white satin paint. Then added glitter additive to the paint for the last coat of the risers.I can't comment on durability as I have only just fitted these. Straight away was a strong adhesive. They have not moved, even with kids running up and sliding down. Cannot recommend them enough.

These are perfect for my intended use.I wanted them to cover over my glitter carpet on the stairs as I was finding that in places the sparkle was becoming a bit dull from wear & tear. I purchased these and they were better than expected & cheaper than a new stairs & landing carpet.Firstly, they Come with two adhesive strips. One along the fold and one at the front. You just peel & Place down. I didn't need to, but I did place two small tacks either side for stability but only because I have a huge household of various ages & pets running up & down all day, everyday.Secondly, I can honestly say they've stayed in place despite endless use & vacuuming and look fab.My stair carpet isn't underlayed & I don't know if that makes a difference to how they stick but it's only been down for 2 yrs so it's still quite fluffy & not flat or over worn.I bought these based on the reviews & I'm glad I did. 👍🏽
