Garnier SkinActive Gel Face Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid, 1.7 Ounce

So I find these too products are close to being the same. I had a hard time trying to figure out which one would be better to buy. So I'm going to do a little experiment with the 2 products. I'm going to use each product on half of my face so see what the difference is, if there is going to be any. And I'll update you guys, if interested.

so I was looking for a new moisturizer. I used the blue Garnier moister rescue worked wonderfully but left a sticky residue. so I decided to try Neutrogena hydro boost, I used it for 2 weeks but hate the terrible result. pros- wasn't sticky. cons- clogged pores, had a major break out and had a horrible stinging sensation. So I decided to try this since I liked their other product. And instantly amazed, it is only great moisturizer that absorbs, isn't sticky, I don't have clogged pores, and my breakout is going away. I hope they don't ever discontinue. 😁

Neutrogena Hydro Boost is so much better than this. I bought both based on the Amazon reviews, and while Hydro Boost is just as good as the reviews say it is--this is terrible. It actually feels like I'm putting Garnier conditioner on my skin, and it makes it feel itchy and sort of stings. I'm sure I'm going to break out now that I've put this on my face. I should have tried it on my arm first. I hate the idea of throwing the entire jar away--so I thought maybe I could use it as body lotion. I put some of it on my legs and had the same reaction--stingy/itchy/and then finally pills and feels like dead skin flaking off. It's so gross! I have no idea why people would give this a good review unless they're being paid. I will reorder the Neutrogena Hydro Boost from Amazon though. It's a few dollars more, but it works and feels nice and hydrating.

Tried this while a promo and loved it so much bought it again. It is a serum based combo moisturer and is great under make-up, great for day-wear lone and I also apply it to face & neck over wrinkle serum at night. It was unique to me regarding it's texture & consistency. It is a lightly held together gel. Beautiful color and faint scent very wholesome and fresh. Does not "evaporate" like some serum and goes on and spreads on smooth as silk. I pray Garnier doesn't discontinue it anytime soon. It is unlike any beauty product I have used.

In the past, I have used Neutrogena Hydroboost, which is a product very similar to this one. I decided to try this one because it is slightly cheaper and has some added vitamins and ingredients that the neutrogena does not. The very first time I used it, I broke out and my face felt greasy all day. I used it again to see if the first time was a fluke; it was not. So I'll be switching back to the Neutrogena Hydroboost.For reference, I am 20 years old, and I have combination skin which gets oily in the summer and dry in the winter, and has become very prone to acne in the past few months. I will be giving this product to my mom for her to try, because she does not have acne-prone skin. The ingredients look great to me, so I'm not sure why it's doing what it's doing. It smells great too. But everyone is different I guess.

This gel moisturizer is awesome! I originally got a tiny amount in a sampler box as a Christmas present. I fell in love with the weightless texture and how the moisturizer just melts into your face and leaves a clean feeling. I’m one that hates the feeling of a greasy face and this doesn’t leave you feeling greasy at all! I have dry, acne prone skin and I felt this fixed my dryness without over exaggerating my acne! It also has a very pleasant clean scent that doesn’t linger. I found some face lotions have an awful scent and that the smell lingers. This moisturizer also reminds me of a gel moisturizer that I got from bath and body works but this is much cheaper and works better!

I bought this after Laura Lee on YouTube suggested it. I have extremely dry skin that typically gets greasy with lotion. This has changed my skin tremendously. Even mid winter, I don’t have any noticeable dry patches. Runs into the skin beautifully, and makeup applied seamlessly on top. Almost done with my first jar and will absolutely repurchase.

Update: I also let me sister use this to see if it was okay with her skin type but it made her break out too!Review: I really wanted to like it because I heard it was comparable to the aqua bomb but only a fraction of the cost. It looks identical, However, I think the scent is too strong. Plus, my skin is not sensitive and it broke me out on my forehead, chin, and cheek area. :(

Great for winter days. I wear this alone without serum and it does an excellent job. Works well under makeup as well.

Got this a while back and wow is it ever good on your face.. I have very dry skin during winter & summer and this here really softens up my face and smooths it up.. I love the smell of it :) it's non greasy on your face. Just a wonderful product.
