Humco Sulfur Powder Sublimed - 4 Oz by HUMCO

For several months last year, I dealt with pretty bad prednisone-induced FA/malassezia. After much research, and based off of some pretty decent success with a sulfur mask in the ‘90s, I decided to give sulfur a try. I was unable to find ANY sulfur products that would be good for my sensitive skin and be FA safe, so instead, I just decided to add a dash of this powder to my Vanicream face wash. And a teeny dash to my glycerin moisturizer. Boom. Clear skin after a few months of consistent use, and best of all, got to throw away my way-too-potent antibiotic Rx. One final note- there is hardly any odor to this. I hope this helps someone else who might be dealing with FA.

The first thing I didn't like was half the can, if you do, make the can smaller so that it is full. My chinchilla had a very strong lichen, they say on the forums that this sulfur helps. It doesn't help. Only treatment with metronidazole tablets and lamisil spray helped. Don't believe in other drugs, this is a placebo.

The best Sublimed sulfur!!! Use for skin problems. Works very well.

I mix this about 1/2 tsp with 1 oz regular shampoo, and use it to wash my dog. It does a great job getting rid of his ringworm - the best remedy I've found in fact.You can also use regular sulfur soap, but it's easier for me to handle shampoo than a bar. There is no odor for about 24 hours; then there is a slight burnt-matchsticks odor in his fur that is not offensive. This is nowhere near as smelly as sulfur-lime, if you're familiar.
