Great Storage for Summer Sandals
I purchased this unit to store my many pairs of flip flops and sandals. Luckily, when it arrived I had someone here to haul it inside as it is a very, very heavy package. I knew it was going to be a challenge to put it together, but, I figured I would at least give it shot before I called my son for assistance. I had read several reviews where some people were missing parts so the first thing I did was to separate and count all of the items. Everything was accounted for except the little plugs used to cover the screws. I found the directions easy to get through once I figured out what the pictures were trying to tell me. There is no written set of directions. Just pictures. I managed to understand everything that I was instructed to do, although, It was necessary to really pay attention to the parts pictures to see what direction they were supposed to be facing. Everything was labeled except for two pieces, but again, by looking at the illustrations I was able to figure out what they were. I will admit that it took this 73 year old grandma a long time to complete the assembly but complete it I did! The hardest part for me was getting down on the floor to do some of the work and then attempting to get back up. I took my sweet time during this project because I did not want to make mistakes. I was amazed at how easy it was to complete each section once I interpreted the pictorial diagrams. The lack of strength in my hands made it a bit difficult to screw in all of the screws that were needed, but I managed. The hardest task was when I was putting in the little caps and locks for the doors. This was done after the unit was attached to the wall. I actually thought that maybe this section should have been done before the unit was in an upright position. But, because everything else was falling so easily into place, I opted to follow the directions. I really could have used 2 people for this part as I found it difficult to hold up the pieces with one hand and maneuver the screw driver into place with the other to screw in the tiny screws. I spread the work out over 2 days.. the first day I worked from 2 pm to 6 pm and I completed the rest of it the next day working 3pm -6pm. Had I had an electric screw driver things would have gone MUCH faster. A younger person with less arthritic hands would be able to complete it in a much shorter time period. I am going into such detail because I almost did not purchase this unit because there were people who wrote negative reviews about the unit. I ALWAYS read the reviews. I then base my decision whether or not to purchase on what was said. I am so glad I decided to buy this kit. It is EXACTLY what I needed to store my sandals. The wood was sturdy, holes were perfectly lined up, extra hardware was included and everything was in excellent condition. I might write to the company to try to get some vanity caps to cover the screws, but maybe not, as i am not that particular. I am very pleased with my purchase and my ability to put it together! Fits perfectly in my very narrow hallway!

Sturdy, easy to assemble, looks very nice, and does the job for a guy with not that many shoes.
Got this the other day and decided to put it together last night... let me start off by saying that this is one of the most organized and well documented builds I've ever done. This company had EVERYTHING labeled from the wood to the smallest screws and it made construction a breeze. The instructions were very thorough with clear illustrations and part listings on each page to the point that it made it incredibly simplistic. Anyhow, all that to say it was the easiest build I've ever had to do and it made it an enjoyable process. The cabinet itself is particle board but it's very sturdy and the design of the cabinet is very beautiful. When I completed building it, I stood back and looked at it and was honestly surprised at how nice it looks. The cabinet drawer pull out operation is smooth and steady and each "shelf" was appropriately sized for the shoes. Being a guy and having big feet, most of my shoes are kind of large (13) so it only held 6 pairs per drawer, but that was good enough for me since I don't really own that many shoes. Anyhow, I was super pleased with it and it's doing the job so I send my thanks to the makers for a fine piece of furniture!

Very Cute!
I really loved the color and look of this shoe rack. I did not read much into it but in order for it to not fall over you have to screw it into the wall. It also was not the easiest thing to put together. It took about 30-45 minutes, and it takes about two people to put it together! Overall, I love the quality! I saw some people say that it was cheaply made I do not feel that it looks that way the only way you would be able to tell is that it is not has heavy as real wood. I love this product and definitely recommend. Also, for shoe size reference I wear a women's 12 and my shoes are able to fit inside!

Well made.
This looks really nice. It’s very sturdy and well made. I would definitely recommend following the advice to bolt it into the wall to avoid tipping forward. It does hold lots of shoes (not boots). It was exactly what I was looking for. It may not work for longer sized shoes as the doors may not close. Luckily size 8’s easily fit.

Great shoe storage cabinet!!
Fantastic shoe cabinet! It took about an hour to build I used wood glue and thread lock to make it stronger. It does need to be anchored to the wall when filled with shoes. The quality is great and it fits nicely in a corner. I highly recommend this product!

Great purchase
Looks great , holds a good amount of shoes and doesn’t take up too much space. It did take some time to put together by myself, but was able to do it as a one person job and the finished shoe drawer is great.

Beautiful and Functional
This is beautiful, and functional. I love it! It is narrow enough to fit in my small entryway space. It holds about 16 pairs of shoes, but the amount would depend on the size of the shoes. In addition, you could also but shoes under it. The box it came in was heavy, but I was able to get it inside from the porch. I put it together by myself in about 1 1/2 hours. My husband then attached it to the wall.

Beautiful, tiring to assemble, can't bolt to wall
I really like it and it's a great solution for our narrow entryway. It looks nice too. However, this thing took me 1hr 45 min to put together by myself. I'm not a super handy person but I was prepped for the job because yesterday I built a desk with the same kinds of screws and parts. There was no point where I didn't know what to do next, just constantly building. I just had to have my husband hold the drawer in place while I affixed it. So it's totally doable, and I'm happy with the result so far, but man that took a long time to build. Maybe if you like Legos, this is the project for you.Update: if your baseboards are tall, the design of this might be problematic. I think they put it on the metal feet at the bottom specifically to overcome this problem, but it's still not tall enough for this house. And if it can't touch the wall then you cannot brace it and prevent it from tipping over.
