Why won't my freezer door close after using the organizer basket?

Because there is no spacing between the freezer door and the internal lip. Needs to be spaced 0.2 inches or more, please measure before purchasing!

Why are the dimensions measured correctly, but the freezer door won't close all the way?

Your freezer has a bulge on the inside of the lid which then keeps you from being able to fully close the lid with these bins in place. So check if the inside of the top of your freezer is totally flat. Then do not buy this product.
