Headcovers Unlimited 100% Cotton Three Seam Turban | Chemo Turbans for Cancer Patients.

I am among the small percentage of cancer survivors whose hair did not grow back properly after chemotherapy. Wigs are scratchy and uncomfortable, so I wear a lot of caps. This three seam turban is my favorite style, the perfect in between size - neither too tight nor too droopy. Over the past 6 years, I got a number of them from Hats with Heart before I discovered Headcovers Unlimited. The two vendors' styles are very similar in size and shape, and both are well made. The stretchy cotton fabric is very soft and comfortable, and the caps are machine washable and dryable. The main difference is that Hats with Heart version has wider elastic in the back. These from Headcovers Unlimited, with narrower elastic, actually fit my small head a little better. I like the variety of available colors and have gotten Cabernet, Black, Amethyst, Blue Neptune, and Carolina Plum. The Headcovers Unlimited version is also a couple of dollars less expensive. I would recommend either brand.I also recommend calling the product something other than "Cancer Turbans." Women have hair loss for other reasons besides cancer, and this cap is also cute enough to wear anytime even if you don't have hair loss.

The head covers arrived on time , VERY high quality, but the packaging made my heart so happy. This is a difficult time in my life, but the package came wrapped with such caring, it seemed a very good friend had wrapped it just for me. Thank you soooo much for the awesome quality head covers and the added extra that does my heart good.

I like the color, the fabric, and the fit of this turban. I hand wash it and lay it on a towel to dry, and it retains its shape quite well.In this pandemic era of being unable to get a haircut due to all the salons being closed down, I decided a few weeks ago to have my husband use his fancy hair clippers, which he uses on himself, to give me a very simple, very close haircut, to allow me to finally get rid of my irritatingly overgrown, messy, mop of hair. Though the end result does not look like anything I would have ever asked a professional hair stylist to do to me in a salon, it doesn't matter. Because this turban has come in quite handy to hide any deficiencies of my homemade haircut on the very rare occasions when I leave the house these days.For that reason, this turban has definitely been a worthwhile purchase.

This is lightweight, with an approximately 0.25 inch by 3.25 inch fully covered elastic piece at the back. My scalp is tender now, so I am happy that the cap is lightweight, as heavier caps are hard to wear all day. Further, because I still have some long shoulder length hair left, I can push that under the cap and it doesn't slither out, thanks to the small bit of elastic, which also helps with the fit. If the cap slipped of my head now, since I have some hair left, I would be embarrassed, more so than if I were already completely bald. I can also use it as a liner for some of my winter caps that are not fully lined. Lastly, now that most of my hair is gone, my head gets cold at night - this is light enough for bedtime, and I think the elastic will keep it from popping off as I flip over in bed. I will be buying more of these in different colors. Thanks!

I purchased three (3) of these hats for my 86 year old Mom who is battling a recurrence of ovarian cancer all within the past 12 months. When the package came it was so nicely wrapped and presented with little extras, and when I saw the request for a positive product review I made a mental note to remember to do that if my Mom was happy. I've purchased other hats for her during this time, but none have been as nice as these. She could not stop saying how comfortable and soft they are, how perfectly they fit, and that they are now her favorites to wear. The material, colors, and craftsmanship are all superb. I live in the Pacific Northwest and in the spring time the air is loaded with pollen. Being highly allergic to pollen I look for items that will help keep the pollen from making my life miserable. This turban is perfect for covering my hair so I don't have pollen all over my pillow at night and keeping my hair almost pollen free. The turban is light weight and I don't have to worry about the weight of a heavy knit cap as the weather gets warmer. Wish I would have thought of this earlier, life would have been filled with less sneezing.

The product exceeded my expectations!! Perfect fit, and so soft on my head. I was given a approximate date that it would arrive when I paid for it, and it arrived much sooner which was a very pleasant surprise! It came in plastic United States Postal Service package. But when I opened it up like it was just like it came from a close friend of mine. Inside was my order, and this beautiful heartfelt magnet that was very inspirational to me. Even my receipt was inside a lovely cardboard sleeve. I was so worried that it would not fit or get here on time. This company exceeded my expectations!!! When you don't have any hair it's nice to have something so soft against your sensitive head. And I actually feel like I look pretty in it as well!! Losing my hair was a horrible experience, but thank God for this wonderful company. In fact when I am done writing this review, I am going to order another one of these only in blush pink! This snug black turban is an excellent base to dress up with pretty scarves to give it some volume. Comfortable. I have alopecia and needed something to give me a break from the daily chore of hairpieces. This fits the bill very well.
