Hand cast sterling silver silhouette-style charm of the Japanese/Chinese kanji symbol for "ninja". Ninja were members of a feudal Japanese society of mercenary agents, highly trained in martial arts and stealth (ninjutsu), who were hired for covert purposes ranging from espionage to assassination. In Japanese it is pronounced ninja, and in Chinese it is ren jerh. The word "ninja" is engraved on the back, as a translation. The charm portion is 1 1/2" (39mm) long, 3/4" (20mm) across, and 1mm thick. The charm comes on a 6mm split ring, suitable for wearing on a charm bracelet or necklace chain, and the pendant comes on a fancy 7x5mm bail. The split ring and bail are sterling silver. For both the charm and pendant, the total length is 1 7/8" (46mm).Lovingly handcast in the USA exclusively by DragonWeave. High quality - accept no substitutes!

Sterling Ninja Japanese Kanji Pendant
Nice sterling silver kanji pendant, good size, but thought it would be a bit thicker. Ad described it as 1 mm. VERY thin. Also thought the kanji symbols would be bit more defined as shown in ad, but it appears to be cut out of a sheet of flat metal. Still nice. Has word "ninja" and "925" inscribed and stamped on the back. Comes well packaged. Nice gift for a ninjutsu practioner, though I think the price is a bit high for what it is. About $30/$35 would have been a bit more reasonable for what it is and the amount of silver here.
