Having received a complimentary sample bag, recently, I have been taking this extract, most nights, since then.The taste is pleasant, and it seems to dissolve well, in hot water. I haven’t found the effects dramatic, but I have been sleeping well (and napping less, during the day).Being, I believe, the “go-to” herb, as a sleep aid, in TCM, and given that it is hard to find, individually, in the US, I think it is likely that I will purchase a larger bag, at some point, and try using it, longer term.

Well, unexpectedly, this extract made my systolic blood pressure jump by 25 pts - so much so that I could get to sleep. Took 2 days to get back down to my normal BP. Wanted to like it, but my body said no.

Does not mix well in water. Quite a waste to buy the powder. Capsules must easier to use and I would buy the capsules but powder doesn’t seem to work for me
