Just the ticket to rejuvenate my Tom Tom satnav, so that it functions as it should and stays on for my whole journey.

A 7 year old sat nav not holding any charge - so buy a new satnav (£300 plus) or a try changing the battery - BATTERY !!!Fast delivery and a perfect fit. Comes with all the tools you need and may not have like tiny torx drivers.Job done in about 30 mins. Done one full charge so we see how long the battery lasts. But as with another reviewer I have lifetime update package for map with a SIM on board for camera alerts. So no way I wanted to get rid of it and face a full price for a new one vs the cost of this kit. If I have to buy a new battery every year I'm still quids in. Tools useful for other projects too.

Arived on time - good. BUT none of the six screwdrivers fitted the circuit board screws, and there were a lot of other tools with no relevant purpose - not good. By chance I had a different set from another kit, one of which did fit . Separating the screen and later reattaching the screen connection properly were both a lot more difficult than the YouTube video looked, and the pry-tool tip broke off to float around inside the casing. At least the new battery seems to hold its charge - and all my data was saved. Overall, worth the cost, at less than ten percent of replacing the whole device .

Faced with buying a new satnav, or changing the battery, I tried the battery.Kit arrived quickly, battery a near perfect fit, all the tools needed and good quality. 35 mins and job done. 2 charge cycles later and it runs full screen brightness in battery for 95+ minutes. Before this, it wouldn't do 5 mins.Ok the satnav was 5 years old, but it has a lifetime update package with a SIM on board for scamera alerts. Way too good to junk, and this kit revived it. Brilliant product. If I get a year from it, it's still a huge bargain. Tools saved for other projects. Nothing broke.

Lots of time to replace a Tomtom battery - weigh up the hassle and let someone else do the work.

The battery in my Tomtom Sat Nav died as soon as it was removed from its charger. I asked a local shop how much to replace it and was quoted £50.00. I looked at the battery and tool kit supplied here and a YouTube video of how to do it. It seemed within my capabilities so I ordered the battery kit. Three days later I had fitted the battery and my Tomtom is like new. Well done guys 👍

The toolkit was missing from this order. I spoke to Amazon who said they couldn't send one - all I could do was to return the battery! Taking matters into my own hands I sent an email to cameron sino but have heard nothing!I decided to spend another £6.94 on a toolkit which contained the right size screwdriver (T5). Fortunately I've done the job - though it's quite fiddly, and the Satnav now has rough edges where I had to lever the thing apart with considerable force. Miraculously the device actually works. Let's just hope the new battery lasts as it should!David

When I ordered this battery replacement for my TomTom I didn’t realise it was delivered from Germany. No worries though as it arrived in very good time. The product was exactly what I needed, with all the necessary tools to open the TomTom case. The procedure to change the battery is very easy, but if you need instruction then there are a good number of YouTube videos on the web that show how to do it.Very happy with the product, delivery and value for money.
