Coghlan's Ditty Bag Set

purchased them for my son some time ago for Scouting and they were good for keeping items separated , some times its easier to find scout gear if it has its own spot or bag. My son liked them and I would purchase again it needed.

These are a bit thin, but for the price you can't bear it

I thought I could use them as stuff sacks for nylon jackets and the like. However, they are more like sleeves than bags. I think the largest one could handle a tube of toothpaste and a toothbrush. The others are correspondingly smaller. I didn't return them but opted to buy the "Outdoor Products Ditty Bag Assorted Combo Pack" as well. Those bags are larger, have a drawstring closure, and are much more useful.

They are small and handy. The largest I use to cover my carburetors on my Rotax. Thin nylon but sturdy for the size.

These bags are so small! I was able to use 2 of them, one for a little personal humidifier I brought on our trip out west and one for a toiletry item. They were much smaller than I'd imagined. The smallest bag I didn't even use. If you've got really small items you need to pack, then these may fit the bill, otherwise, keep searching. The bags are thin, but overall nicely made. The cinch top works well, but sometimes wouldn't stay cinched.

OK, I'm an idiot; if I had carefully read the reviews, I would have figured-out that these bags are SMALL. The small bag can just handle the width of a beer bottle (but not the length), the medium bag can comfortably handle the width and length of a beer bottle. on top of that, there are drawstrings, but no clips on the drawstrings. They're cheap, so I 'll give them 3 stars for value, perhaps I should give them four. But for the overall rating, I find that they're useless.

What perfect little things to have!! I was impressed by previous reviews and was really glad I read them! OPEN CAREFULLY AND DONT CUT THE PACKAGING! The packaging is actually a fourth bag that's mesh with drawstring and cord lock!I put my Sawyer Mininwater filter and accessories in the mesh bag. The smallest bag holds my firesteel and fatwood. The middle bag holds a huge 36"X62" microfiber towel! I'm still looking for something to put in the biggest one.The only downside is there are no cord locks on the 3 main bags. I had some extras to put on them though. Very pleased. I would buy more if I needed them.

These bags are exactly the size that they claim to be. They are all small and very narrow. There is no round base to them like in the Sea to Summit dry sack bags, so the volume that they hold is small.I purchased these just to hold my reusable mesh produce bags. The largest bag and medium bag worked OK for that, but the smallest bag is just larger than an umbrella sheath. I can imagine it working well for a couple of toothbrushes and a tube of toothpaste.The price was reasonable for the product. The quality of the bags is good, but I do wish that the draw string had a cinch to hold the bag closed.
