Product exceeds expectations.

This is the first time I'd ever needed to buy this product. But moved into a place that had a filter in the fridge. So after looking online (knowing nothing), I hoped that this product and its numbers was what I needed. In fact, it was! And also a great deal as compared to other places on web. So, great. However, the instructions were to turn off the water and that was NOT needed. Also turning clockwise was opposite. So after a little common sense, this worked great. I wrote the correct instructions on the other two for the next two years.... :)

These filters work perfectly in my KitchenAid KBFS25E French Door Refrigerator. This three pack is a great deal price-wise compared to single cartridge purchases and they work every bit as well as the KitchenAid, Maytag, etc. name brand cartridges I used to purchase. My manufacturer recommends changing the water filter every 6 months so I have a year and a half before I have to buy these again. I will purchase this product when I need them. It took 10 days for my order to reach me, even though it is billed as Amazon Prime delivery, so allow plenty of time to receive your purchase.

Fit the Whirlpool fridge I got it for perfectly. It had been a long time since the factory filter wore out and we had been running with the bypass plug installed because the "genuine' filters were so high. This filter fit perfectly, installed in seconds and there was no visible carbon residue in the first few glasses of water taken from the door dispenser after installing it. At this price, we can afford to keep the filter installed for better tasting ice and, just possibly, will cut down on bottled water stored in the fridge.

I am disappointed with these filters. The flow of water through the filter is very slow. I ended up changing the first one way early because it took forever to fill a glass of water. I made sure all the air was out before inserting the second one into my refrigerator, the flow was better but still way slower than my previous filters. I have even had to recalibrate my auto fill feature. Before I changed the settings, set at one cup only gave me 1/4 cup. I will not reorder this brand again. On the positive side they do seem to filter well.

These fit my fridge fine and as far as I could tell, worked fine. No weird flavors or anything.

IF these filters last as long as the "Whirlpool" brand, I will be completely and extremely HAPPILY amazed. We shall see. In the mean time, they were as easy to install as the name brand filters and I'll be most grateful if they last (filtering) as long as the others. THANK YOU for this product ~ and thank you, as usual, Amazon for being here selling just about every single product I could possibly every need!!!

These units do not work in my Maytag refrigerator. Not because it wasn't the right filter, it is. And it goes in. But Maytag has cleverly done something with their refrigerator filters so that "knockoffs" like these work, but they don't work as well. The only way to get the full water pressure to go through the filter was to open the filter compartment and twist and hold the filter harder while dispensing water. Otherwise, you only get a tiny trickle out of it, taking minutes just to fill a glass. And it also affects ice production because the ice cubes become much much smaller (again because it can't get enough water through to fill the ice trays fully). So to solve the problem, I had to go directly to Maytag's site and buy their filter instead which was three times the price. But at least it works. This problem was NOT uncommon, as there are many, many posts on the web about this very problem, and that's where I learned about the trick of turning and holding the filter to make it dispense properly. Do not waste your money on these because while they do work, they don't work properly so you'll end up frustrated and replacing them just as I did.

Got them quickly (2 weeks) even if the item was back ordered when I passed the order.Fits as expected in the fridge. The water flow is much higher than the original one provided with the fridge: is it because the original was way overdue (over 3 years) or because these have less restrriction? We are not using the water fridge dispenser much, so I'll probably never know.

The filter body broke leading to water escaping through to the refrigerator and then to the floor. This happened during the night. By the time this was discovered in the morning, the kitchen area was flooded with the water having made its way to the basement. Took me the better part of the day to clean up. Extensive damage to the kitchen cabinets and items in the basement 😡😡
