Another Osprey Quality Product
I have used Osprey products for years in my outdoor packs, but have never really considered them just as competent in traveling suitcases. Recently, I have been traveling on quite a few 2-5 day trips and hate, I mean hate, having to carry more than what I need, so I got the global carry on size.I have an Osprey backpack I carried with me as well with my laptop as the laptop sleeve is present in this suit case, but it isn't padded nor is there a way to protect it.Remember, this is a global carry on, so the dimensions are quite different than what we typlically see in the swarms of 4 wheeled carry ons here in the states, which often have to be checked on smaller flights. It is wider, so it is closer to a box and it is not as deep as the larger 42-45 L carry ons out there. The back of suitcase is curved a litte, which previous reveiws mentioned, but I didn't feel like I lost space due to that. There is a convenient pocket on the back side I slid a couple of magazines in for safe keeping. Under the lid, there are netted pockets, two actually to separate and organize as you feel is necessary. there is a front pocket you can easily shove a jacket, shoes, etc for a little extra something or to keep items separate from the main compartment. The cinching straps on the exterior and interior are easy to use and well spaced. There is a top liquids pocket I found really handy to keep my liquids in so they are easy to pull out if you need them. The telescoping handle is high quality and isn't rickety in anyway. The handles are also thick and padded, so no problems picking up the suitcase when I needed to. The high road LT wheel chassis makes the money for this case worth it. It can roll over anything smoothly and the chassis lets is sit upright without even feeling like it is going to fall over. I did notice also, there were rubber bumpers on the upper back portion for when you have to lay your suitcase down to open it, the fabric isn't going to lay on the ground and get damaged.I am a light packer, I don't pack to have "options" when I travel, so there are no extra shirts, shoes, or a dress just in case I need it. My wardrobe is a capsule one, so this smaller size suits me. I travel to Europe once a year or so, so the high road LT wheel chassis will be wonderful to have.I just traveled for 4 days and I had plenty of clothes for work, workout clothes, shoes, yoga towel, TRX system, and cosmetics and wasn't even bursting at the seams, I still cinched it down from the outside.I would strongly recommend to anyone.

Get this. Pack smart.
Unlike some reviewers, I didn't get this bag for free, but paid full price. (Haven't figured out how to get on the free stuff gravy train)Regardless, I usually travel with a carry on only when traveling for weeks. Prudent planning of attire and weather conditions have allowed me to enjoy weeks in Africa, the Middle East and Europe with a carry on bag. I grew weary of carrying my bag while dashing from one airline gate to another and got this Osprey Global wheeled bag. Many international airline's require a smaller carry-on than the standard US airline size. This bag fits in all over head compartments I've encountered, and even smaller regional airline overhead bins in Africa which tend to be very small. So get this. Pack smart and stop waiting and praying that your luggage made it to your destination. And if you know the secret for getting free stuff, add a useful comment.

Great international carryon
Took this to Europe with me for a month. It fit as carryon on all the planes. Rolled over gravel, cobblestones and lumpy dirt without a glitch. I love Osprey.

So close
It’s a good bag. I bought it’s slightly bigger sister (42L) but it ended up being 3cm too long for my flights. It’s a great bag with a ton of good features I love all the extra pockets inside and out, it’s light and actually the right size (53cm in length with the bar at the bottom). My only complaint is how it rolls. It’s not as smooth as the 42L. I thinks it’s because it’s 2 inches wider so the weight isn’t distributed around the handle as well. It just doesn’t corner as well. Not a deal breaker at all. It’s still an amazing bag but we are taking 8 flight and will be walking a lot of European streets I wish it handled better. But I can’t have everything. I bought 4 suitcases and this was the best one.Update: took this on a 2 week trip to Greece. While the bag is great it is sadly too large. I went on 8 flights and 4 out of the 8 it didn’t fit in the overhead compartment. The wheels always stick out. I’m returning it.

Too wide for carry-on
Love this bag but it is 2" too wide even for domestic airline carry-on standards. Why is it advertised as a "Global Carry-on" when many European carriers have even more restrictive standards than domestic airlines?

Maybe ok on Moracco, but issues O'hair to Roanoke!
Had issues on a CRJ-200...
