The price was a little on the high side ($99), but, I was presently surprised how it fit and how warm and dry it kept me. I bought it as a replacement to use while The North Face repaired my older 1970's goose down jacket. It zippers on the opposite side, like a woman's zipper does and you have to be very careful about zipping in the materials near the zipper, but other than that, it's a great product, so far. Lots of storage pockets for gloves, cell phone, etc. The only thing that got me was it had a 3 day warranty on the tag... LOL, really?In closing, my only concerns are be careful bring it near a campfire ... it would melt in a heartbeat... wear a light leather or canvas Carhartt jacket over it if your camping.February 18, 2021 update:Overall the jacket has survived its purpose, but in all honesty, save the $99 and apply that for a jacket that has a decent warranty. The material has not been misused and the stitching is falling apart... really bad investment. Doubt the seller will do anything to remedy but I’ll try to contact them... be back with more later.3/8/2021:Contacted the seller and was told that it had been two years since purchasing and they could do nothing to remedy the poor craftsmanship. I purchased a North Face “real down-filled” jacket, with a lifetime warranty and have learned my lesson. Save your money for a great product and GREAT SUPPORT from a reliable company like The North Face.

I attempted to cancel my original order for this parka in large size and reorder it in medium but the seller shipped it out so fast that it was to late to do so. When it arrived and I tried it on, it fit me perfectly so I kept it. This parka is very warm and toasty as I got hot real fast when I put it on. It is very well made and of high quality, and is very comfortable. If your looking to buy a quality parka at a real good price, you can't go wrong this one. I love the Jacket. Customer service was the best I've had yet. They are very polite. They told me what size I needed and they were spot on. The model in the picture is 5'11 and 170 pounds, and is wearing a medium. I'm 5'11 and 130 pounds. I was gonna get the large which seems like it would fit nice as well, especially if you want to wear more layers underneath. The medium is nice and snug, so it just depends if you want a looser fit or not. Also fast shipping, so I definitely recommend.

Nice light and warm. The only thing i have noticed so far is the zippers which i think they could use bigger and better but otherwise this is a good buy. Hopefully they will improve the zippers in the near future

definitely warm!!! the hood and the ability to zip the hood and the upper part closed around the neck to prevent air from coming in was key. Could have use a large inside pocket for storage and hook in the collar to hang the jacket without tearing it off the hanger. Good buy.

It's warm enough, but kind of bulky. Definitely not a packable thing. Not much down - mainly synthetic insulation.

I think this is oneof the bestwinter jackets that I have owned. Would surely recommend it to anyone and if I live long enough will get another when needed, I am 81.

It's thick and puffy. I'm wearing it at the moment , -3 C and it's perfect. However you do have to be super duper careful with the zipper. Unless you are real careful it will get caught in the excess material. Otherwise I felt it was a good buy at $89.

one of the arm liner is twisted and I can't put my arm through without risking to rip it, it's smaller than expected , get the larger one to be safe

Great coat. Only drawback is that there was a hole in the interior lining in the armpit and when I put my arm in the sleeve, my finger caught the hole and ripped the lining about 5 inches which I am going to get fixedOtherwise, it's a great coat and I love it.

I got the product in time as promised and the firs impression was very good, I vas waiting for a cold snap and it came soon -20 for a week+ and the jacket past the test with flying colors even on windy days offered a good protection. Worry satisfied. Highly recommended.

Be careful with the inside pocket zipper. It gets caught in the cloth and then breaks. Lasted a whole 2 weeks.
