Samsung DA61-03230B Hinge-French

This part works for my 10+ year old Samsung RF266ABRS/XAA fridge. Repair time is about 20 minutes, including pulling the fridge out and unplugging the power cord. There are youtube videos showing how to replace the hinge and I highly recommend watching them before replacing the hinge. Cheers!

Easy to install

Part came fast..... and that was a good thing as the fridge is kinda hard to close when one of these hinges is broke on the flapper or as it it is really called MULLION.Perfect OEM Samsung part.There is a video that shows how to fix it..... do a search for: Samsung Refrigerator Repair - How to Replace the Outer Hinge (Samsung # DA61-03230B)

This part fit perfectly and replaced the upper hinge on my Samsung French door refrigerator, model RF217ACWP. The repair took about 10 minutes, and instructions are readily available online, if needed. There is only one Phillips screw to remove. The rest of the components can be disassembled using a small flat screwdriver. Use care when removing the foam insert to avoid cracking it; I used an old butterknife to easily work it out.The replacement part slid right on and the reassembled door now closes like new. I no longer have to worry about the refrigerator not closing properly, which happened recently and led to discarding perishable foods. This repair is way cheaper and easier.Highly recommended!
