I was so sad when I tried to use this the videos made everything look so easy and I used it on a flat smooth surface and it was just terrible. It kept sticking to itself. I couldn’t get it took a one smooth, even using a squeegee and my hand and a washcloth. I tried heating it like it was suggested. finally part of it just tore and I had to throw that part away and when I tried to use the other, it did the same thing and I just completely gave up. I started at 10 o’clock in the morning and at 12:30 I called it. I was very patient with it went very slow took the backing off a little at a time and it was just terrible and I’ve worked with many other contact papers and products and never had any issues. Just been very patient and this one just wouldn’t budge it makes me so sad because I was so looking forward to using this.😔

The design of this contact paper is nice—the white and gray marble pattern looks clean and modern. However, the material felt pretty cheap. I could easily scratch or even tear it with just my fingernail, which makes me doubt it could hold up to daily use on a countertop. It might work for light-use areas or decorative projects, but I wouldn’t recommend it for surfaces that need durability.
