Great Film Camera
I love this camera!! It takes the best pictures with fantastic details and great colors. I took 12 rolls of film in Hawaii and they were beautiful. The zoom is very good. I got some great close-up shots from a long distance away. I use 800 speed film as it seems to give the best quality at the 160 zoom. The camera is compact, lightweight and easy to carry. I bought a second one for my husband.

Not a good camera
Very disappointing...the digital part that tells you how many pictures you have taken stopped working after a week. Nowafter using the camera 3 times in 4 months it also will not auto rewind. This was advertised as a NEW camera...what a rip off!! My other film camera lasted 20 years!!!

It's Garbage
I don't write reviews but I want to save someone from making a BIG mistake. The first time I used this camera was in Tahiti and after two rolls of film, it broke. I took it back to Circuit City and got another. I used one roll over Christmas and took it too Egypt. This new one broke after the third roll and I haven't used it since. Who cares about the warranty? What a waste of money - I certainly don't want to have another one of these. I am now using my old reliable 10-year-old camera and am sucking up the expense. But I also don't have pictures of Tahiti and Egypt. Am I supposed to carry two cameras in case this one doesn't work? Never again Minolta will you get my money. It's not the money for the camera but the trip pictures to places I will probably never go again. Thanks for the memories - not.

Konica Minolta Freedom Zoom 160C
So far so good. I enjoy having a small point and shoot with me when i go out. The camera so far has done well. There are some instances where it doesnt handle the contrast differences as well as i would like, but that might just be a user issue. I has taken some great pictures which gave me immense pleasure.I like Minolta cameras and as with their other camera products i am very pleased :-)
