This rim seems strong, box shaped like mavic ma rim. However its tight fitting which makes tires hard to install. I heard some DT are like this.

Does what it should.
Performs exactly as you'd expect. An aluminum rim made for DT Swiss. Straight, weight is reasonable, built up into a nice wheel. If I were looking for a durable 32 spoke rim, value priced, I'd buy this one again.

Good rims, watch out for pinch flats from inner spoke holes
Good rims, but with a problem, huge holes inside rim for installing spoke nipples....., why, your tube can get pinched with the recommended 18 mm wide strip. ( it happened to me in the middle of a century ride ) the solution is a 20 mm wide rim strip. I e-mailed swiss DT about the problem....., never responded. they need to make the inside holes smaller, and more toward the center.

Overall favorable experience but I've gotten a few bad ones
I've built up two of these in recent years and they've been fantastic. They're strong and stay true even for a 200 lb rider. Two recent rims I've ordered needed to be returned, however. Their seam (this rim is pin joined not welded) gaps were pretty large (about a 1/2 mm or at least enough to let let light shine clearly through). So if you order them, ask your shipper to do a visual inspection first and then inspect them carefully upon receipt. I can't assert anything for sure, but having a gap in the seam large enough to let light through is probably a manufacturing defect.
