The sizing of the these clips is tricky -- you might easily assume the advertised mm equals a closed clip ID, when, in fact, even opened to the max, the clip ID is still (a little) smaller than its advertised size.So when you're using these to clamp standard fuel line fittings, I would advise selecting clips sized a fair bit larger than the OD of your chosen pipe: for example, I used 12mm clips to secure 10.5mm PVC fuel line.And for fixing same pipe to motorcycle tank tap straight bayonet fittings, I found that 13mm clips were fine.Took me a couple of goes and one return to get things fully sorted.Otherwise, the clips are good.

Perfect example of "Does what it says on the tin", there are 10 8mm clamps and they all work perfectly

One has to be careful about the position of the clip in relation to any barbs on the spigot to which one is attaching the tube. It helps to have a good selection of pliers if, as in my case, the tubing is being attached to a fuel pump almost hidden in a very congested region under an engine.
