I go through a lot of LED leg lights because they get lost, break, or wear out. I jumped at the chance to buy a bunch of them for a low price.They are much dimmer than other leg lights I have used. The LED is bright, but its light is not distributed around the band well. They are dimmer than they appear in the Amazon picture which must have used long exposure time. They seem to work fine in the dark.I like that the snap band is tighter than the Nite Ize snap band that was too loose for me.Edit:I changed the review to 5 stars because they are plenty bright enough for riding at night and are an excellent bargain. I was able to improve the brightness on some of them by adjusting LED to be centered on the clear plastic diffusion band. Pull out the LED assembly like you would to change the battery, and make sure the LED is flush with the top and bottom of the diffusion band.

These slap-on wrists LED lights are perfect to wear when out either walking or biking at night. They provide a bit more security that others will see you and not run you over. We live in a 55+ development so one takes his life in his hands when out walking or biking at night. These help immensely. I slap one on each of my wrists, but also wear a reflective jacket and have LED light on the spokes of my bike's front wheel, as does my hubby. All this combined has kept us safe! I do highly recommend these slap on lights. My grandchildren will love them when they visit!!

We have 6 children and bought these for evening activities including our weekly trips to Universal Studios. At night it's so much easier to spot them when they're glowing! We used them for the first time on Sunday (product arrived Saturday). All 6 bands lit just fine and the fact that it fit so much better on my 3 and 5 year olds was a huge plus while still being large enough for my husband if he chose to wear one. However, one of the bands kept shutting off after about 10 minutes (why 4 stars and not 5). I'm hoping it's just a battery going low so will attempt to change it first. We do like them much better than some light up bracelets that clip on, which we originally purchased. After two uses, two of those are already unwearable (the band doesn't stay closed to stay on wrist) so these are a HUGE plus and I like that they can also be worn on the ankle as well. Will most likely purchase a second set so that all 8 of us have a band and I'll have a couple extras.

USES:I use one of these bands every day on my way to and from work. I ride my bike and I put this around my ankle so my pants don't get caught in the chain and to alert motorists not to hit me! If you're reading this review and thinking you could use it in the same manner, I would say that it's slightly too small for around pants and ankle, and people with bigger ankles/bulky pants might not be able to do this.BATTERY:I've used the same one every day to and from work (30 min total) for about 2 months and it still blinks and lights up completely fine. I think that's pretty good- and I've still got 5 other ones that I haven't even touched!OPERATION:Easy to wrap around wrist or ankle, snaps well. It clicks between fast blinks, slower blinks, and a solid light. SOMETIMES when clicking through it will either not recognize the click or will just turn off. It happens so infrequently and it's not an issue to hit the buttons again that it does not affect my rating.

I already own one and love it - decided to share.They arrived today - faster then expected. In addition, all arrived with a plastic guard to prevent battery from draining its power - pull tab for it to work. Love that they protected the battery so it remains unused and keep its charge.Each time you press on the button the light cycles through: fast flashing, slow flashing, steady "on" light, and finally "off".The bracelets wrap around so that they fit and hold on your wrist, upper arm, ankle, or a strap on your bag / bookbag.I'm giving these as gifts, perfect for exercising or walking dogs at night, power failures at malls and shopping centers where drivers can no longer see you since parking lot light are not working. Flashing best because it draws your attention to pay attention.

These are so much nicer then the clip on your shoe LED lights I've been using for years. The coil inside that controls the wrapping action seems pretty sturdy and probably won't wear out too quickly. There is only one LED at the start of the band that shines down the length of the it over some type of reflective material, so it's not as bright at the end as it is the beginning. Over all I think they'll be nice. I wish they would have sold colors in pairs and made them rechargeable, instead of using button batteries which are always a pain to find the right size at the store.

I was just going to get a few glow sticks for trick or treating but figured it would be better to get something reusable.These bands are perfect! Very bright. Almost too bright unless you wrap the strap over the LED itself. People were very impressed and we got a lot of compliments. My husband and I each wore one and our two kids got two each. They fit very well on a 5 and 2 year old.The LED strip does come out very easy and it was difficult for my 5 year old to put it on without having to put the strip back on. If the bad was a little more secure, this would be a 5 star item. I'm still super happy with them, though, and would recommend them to others.

I purchased these for myself and my husband for walking at night on a path with many bicyclist. Some of the colors are duller than others. My favorite is the green because it is the brightest. They are great for being seen but not for lighting the path. They work well. We generally use them on the solid light setting but the other two flashing setting work. We have had people stop us on the path to ask us were we bought these. I would suggest that you buy batteries if you intend on using them regularly. The original batteries lasted about two months with regular use. We just replaced the batteries, which was simple. I would buy these again but there's no need when you can replace the batteries. Very useful safety device for people who walk in the dark.
