Q: Is it gentle enough for My 14 year old, blind Shih-Tzu?

I have a 3 year old beagle and I brush her LIGHTLY with it. She doesn't really like it. My husband insists its because its too hard. For a dog that age with health complications, I wouldn't recommend it.

Q: is it gentle for my 2 months old teacup Maltese??

I would think it’s fine for the little darling. My gorgeous long-haired kitty does not like to be groomed but since she won’t do it herself -lazy thing!- I have to do it for her. This brush is so gentle she’s been very calm now when I brush her. And it does a very nice job detangling and removing the clumps. I really like it.

Q: will this work for rabbits?

I’ve not personally tried. However, I think it would work just fine. The bristles are short, and thin. Should be gentle enough.

Q: How is it for a short haired cat?

Not sure about a cat. I use it for my long haired Dachshund. & it works great.
