The PROOF team doesn’t take testing lightly. From Iceland to Tasmania, they’ve put their 72-hour gear through the wringer. All those redeyes, miles off-the-grid, and skipped laundry days led to the creation of the 72-Hour Merino Pant. They’re crafted from a merino wool blend that took two years to perfect and naturally wicks moisture away from your skin, stays dry thanks to a durable, water-repellent finish, regulates your temperature, and resists odors for 72+ hours of wear. Just toss ’em in the washing machine when you get back home, and you’re ready to head out there for days on end all over again.

Great for travel
These were perfect for my travel. The size is spot on - I'm 5'9" about 170lbs and the 33x30 fit me well. Probably a little big, but I put on an Arcade belt with no problems. The pants are on the expensive side, but they were great for my trip to Yellowstone. The material is breathable and has some stretch to it, making it very comfortable. My only question is the durability. I did put the pants through the wringer and they held up. However, after a few washes there is ever so slight pilling in some areas. That being said, I still love the pants and will be taking them with me on my next adventure.

Very nice looking comfortable pants.
PRO: These look like formal dress pants, but feel like stretchy athletic wear. Super comfortable. Machine washable. They look very nice.CON: The price is a bit intimidating.

Noisy and generally unpleasant
These pants make a loud swishing noise when you walk and the fabric is not pleasant to the touch, though they are stretchy and will do the job for travel pants. I strongly debated returning them but I need something like these with little time so... I certainly woudn't buy them again, though. Lastly, the seem across the back of the knee makes them look a bit odd from behind.

Nice Pants
I'm very picky when it comes to pants. Being uncomfortable below the waist just ruins my day, so I'm always on the lookout for good pants. Here's what I think of these:1.) I did not find any defects and found them to be very well-made.2.) The fit in the legs was pretty good.3.) For a 36" waist, I found these to be a bit snug.4.) I love the pockets.5.) The color is consistent with the pictures provided by the manufacturer. Here's where it gets a bit difficult... figuring out the value. If these were $50, sure, I'd recommend them. But, they are listed at $168.00. There's no way these are worth that price in my opinion, so there's no way that I would recommend these. The fit is okay, the quality is good, but these are not $168 good.
