Clarks Men's Un Trek Part Sling Back Sandals

I had a very similar pair, magnet fastening etc, about 10 years ago. Loved them but unfortunately so did our puppy, he chewed through the straps and that was that. So having not seen them for sale since was delighted when I found them here. Ok they are not cheep, but honestly the quality is just how it remember clarks of old were, well worth the extra if you can stretch to it. Comfortable out of the box and fastening system is so much better then most others. I found I had to order a half size smaller but perhaps that’s just me .

I had a previous pair of Clarks sandals that I had worn for more years than I can remember and realised that they needed replacing. I was a bit apprehensive because some reviews had claimed and shown broken magnetic clasps or claimed that the straps were too short. Nevertheless I went ahead and ordered a pair, knowing that I could send them back if they were no good. Whoever broke the fastener must have been a gorilla... they are brilliant. SO much easier than my old (and still wearable) pair to put on. I have quite a high insole, so I was a bit worried about the length of the straps... again, no issues. Super quality and super comfortable. Thank you Clarks. No hesitation in recommending them.

These sandals replace a similar pair I bought about 18 years ago, which had received a lot of hard use. I love the magnetic catches (much improved over the years), and the comfort is supreme. The fit is easily adjustable with Velcro within the leather straps for security. I feel sure that I will still be wearing them 18 years from now. Very pleased with the build quality.

lovely shoes but quality less than last pair which lasted couple of years worn for a month and the front toe edge is already wearing which didn't happen on the last pair. Comfy but think that not as durable as first pair of same style and size.

Very well made, very comfy....will never buy cheap sandals again....false economy and bad for your feet.....the Clarks sandals give your insole lots of support which cheaper sandals tend not to!.... Also, I'm a size ten normally but I always order a size larger to prevent my toes hanging over the edge like a bird of prey about to go fishing!!!!!

Thank you Clarks for returning the Magnetic fastener to the strap, the years of only having Velcro securing straps have meant that I have not purchased replacements for my previous Magnetic ones for at least 10 years.My previous sandals have remained in use all that time and remain, tired but serviceable. The return of the magnetic strap is appreciated I have found them to be comfortable and equal to the job so much so it has persuaded me to purchase my 3rd pair this month.Whilst I think that a Velcro strap for further adjustment to the rear of the foot would be useful these sandals do fit me very well and are very comfortable even after wearing all day.

These have a design fault. The magnets that hold the strap in place seem to be stronger than the glue holding the magnets to the strap. As such only one day after using them the magnets came out. The only way to overcome this is by using tape which really makes the magnets pointless. Sadly this occurred the first day of a holiday and as such the sandals need to be used most days. Clark Shoes Customer Care UK were hopeless and said nothing to do with them. I will have to wait until returning to see if I can exchange them with Amazon.
