Very easy replacement
Very easy replacement and so cheap that if it fails I'll just buy another one. It works great and is very quiet unlike the previous OEM one which had an embarrassingly loud noise whenever it would lock and unlock.

Fixed the hatch in our 2005 Suburban!
The hatch stopped working on our 2005 Suburban. After doing a little research I found out that this may fix it and it did. Install wasn't too bad. My 14 year old son actually installed it with my supervision. Great product for a cheap price.

Worked as it should, but a little tricky to install
There were no installation instructions, but there are some good YouTube videos of what to do. It is best to have someone help you outside the truck to test the opening and closing. Take a picture of the old one in place, so you can make sure all the connections go where they are supposed to. I missed something and the photo saved me.

Great value and perfect fit
The liftgate lock on my 2005 Tahoe finally expired after 18 years, so I searched for a replacement. The liftgate lock actuator is not available as a separate part from Chevrolet because it only comes with the entire latch assembly at a cost of over $300. The local auto parts sells just the actuator for $142, but I found this one for just $18.99. I certainly had my doubts about this one just because of the price, but I gave it a shot anyway. It took about 30 minutes to replace the actuator and the lock is working great. The fit is perfect and the price is definitely right.
