It's a bit wonky looking but I had fun!
I'm a beginner knitter so could have done with more detailed instructions. However, with the help of YouTube videos to explain some of the techniques I was able to follow the pattern. It's a bit wonky looking but I had fun!

Not enough wool to complete the fox!
It was fun knitting until I ran out of wool.I didn't mind having to completely rewind the ball of wall to enable double knitting when there was no sign of the other end in the middle...The pattern gives no clue as to what tension is required except "medium" so I knitted it neither tightly nor loosely... and yet I've run out before even finishing the head, let along the ears or tail...It boldly tells you that you have enough to make Farley. But you don't, I didn't.Another problem, if I'd got that far, is the felting needle that came with it was badly bent.I received it as a present and am rather sad not to be able to show anything for all my hard work.Update: I've now given the kit an extra star...I have plenty of knitting needles of my own so I re-knitted the whole thing on needles a size smaller - there was still not enough to finish it completely! This time I managed the body, the ears and most of but not all the tail.So I went shopping and luckily was able to get a ball of yarn that was close enough in colour and used it to make more ears and and a matching complete tail. The good thing about having scaled down like this was that I had quite a lot of stuffing left over so my fox now has a lot more white on it than the original Farley... BTW I used a Clover felting needle as the one that had come with it was bent... this was a blessing in disguise since the Clover needle holder is so much easier to hold than a single needle is.So I'd sum this up as having been lots of fun but needed quite a few additional purchases to complete the fox.

Not for complete beginners
This is a lovely kit to make a super-cute fox however it is not suitable for complete beginners. The knitting uses double yarns and while there are standard instructions these go no further than 'cast on x stitches, knit four rows of stocking stitch, knit 6 and increase in the next stitch etc' if you are not confident enough with knitting to understand and execute these instructions by yourself, this is not yet the kit for you.
