Stinger RKU36 Roadkill Noise-Deadening Material Ultimate Bulk Kit , Black

Stinger’s Roadkill sound dampening material has been a staple in my vehicles for decades. It has always performed well and holds up for years. The foam layer on the Ultimate saves me the additional step of gluing foam to the deadening.Pros: the sheets are easy to trim with a pair of scissors. The butyl layer sticks well and does a great job of taking resonance out of metal and plastics. The foam layer helps with thermal insulation, acoustic absorption, and making sure panels don’t run against metal (which can create a rattle). The interior is noticeably more quiet when done; my 4Runner is now as quiet at a luxury car.

Very impressed by this product. It installs easily, and is simple to cut with a decent blade, although make sure you have extras on hand. We have lined the doors, rear wall, and floor of my Ram 1500 as well as the doors and most of the trunk of my son's car with 2 boxes. Will likely purchase more to do my wife's Cherokee as well.

This is the step up from the expert series from stinger and this stuff is really nice, mobile app wont let me post pictures will do when I get a chance. Note: the silver mat is the expert series

Deadened the panels and removed the vibration noise from inner panels vibrating on each other. Removed all road noise from floor panels too. Was going to buy soundskins but stinger has never let me down!!

Completed a conversion on my 02 Mountaineer to Aviator interior and while I had everything gutted, decided I wanted to interior to be quieter. This made a huge improvement in roadnoise levels being decreased. No smell, very easy to roll out with a roller and really looks good as well.
