You can taste the difference!
So glad I invested in a vacuum blender! I read a lot about vacuum blending online and it’s true that you can see and taste the difference immediately. I can make a smoothie before work and it’s still fresh tasting by the time I drink it at lunch! It has a really modern look a lot of helpful functions. Really pleased.

Vacuum Blender???
I received the er, eh "Vacuum" Blender at the end of November. The blender was not originally designed to be a "Vacuum" Blender, so it comes with a special o-ring type seal for the lid of the blender jar that is intended to replace the original seal. I guess it is intended to improve the vacuum holding capabilities of this blender. So, I replaced the lid seal according to the instructions, added some water to about the mid level of the jar and proceeded to use the hand held vacuum device that came with the blender to pump down the blender jar. I took over two minutes for the vacuum pump to finish pumping to it's capacity, which is longer that it took while watching some You-Tube reviews, but what I find to be a problem is that if you immediately try to pump the blender jar again, it takes another 30 - 40 seconds to pump down again, which indicates to me that it had already lost some vacuum. If I wait for a couple of minutes, it has already lost vacuum and the lid can be removed without the need to use the vacuum release valve provided at the lid. I tried everything to troubleshoot the leak but bottom line, this blender does not hold vacuum long enough for the purpose of blending a smoothie. Secondly, the controls are not at all intuitive to use. That part, I could tolerate. The blender may work better with a replacement jar and lid, so I proceeded to try to contact the seller, Vitality4Life.I sent Vitality4Life an e-mail using contact information I found on their website and have still haven't received a reply a week later, so I sent them an email through Amazon. Currently waiting. On my third attempt to resolve this issue, I found a chat link on their web site, and Anita responded. After I explained the situation with the vacuum not holding, she wanted me to upload a video of the problem. Which I feel is giving me the 'run around'. I explained that a video will not capture a vacuum leak and that I would just like to get a return authorization so that I can return the faulty blender jar/lid for a replacement. Anita replied that she is not in charge of my market area and that she will escalate this issue. Based on previous unsuccessful contact attempts and the 'run around' that I seem to be getting, and the fact that the vacuum blender does not hold vacuum as advertised. And also based on the fact that according to return policy, my 30 day time frame is running out. I have to give this one star. I'd like to upgrade my review, because I am hopeful this product can be made to work as advertised, but what a pain. And, I hope I receive a response before my return countdown expires.

Wow...
Coming from a nutribullet then to a ninja then to a vitamix (pro series to ascent series) then to a optima now to this... This vacuum blending technology is a thing of beauty and a health benefit. I like the lard 64 oz carafe that comes with it as well as the vacuum accessory... I do have a few shortcomings with the device though...1. The stopper insert for the pitcher cover that is used for vacuum blending, the tabs are a little short (they are the right size for it to fit into the slot before turning into place) but the problem is after several vacuum cycles (and I use it a LOT) the rubber cap starts to flex a little, causing it to come off it's alignment, causing vacuuming issues for other blends.2. when operating the vacuum pump with batteries, it turns off prematurely and at times you have to release it and then activate it again for it to run the full runtime.3. there are no configurable options, but it does the job very well.If I could do it all again, I would have purchased this a while back before hesitating... it just needs to work on these 3 options and I'm ecstatic.

Motor broke less than 30 days, loud and bad service
The additional vacuum accessory takes long, the blender itself is very loud. I order the blender and less the 30 days the blender broke from frozen fruits. The motor stop spinning the jug. I’ve been waiting for my replacement for over 2 weeks. The customer service takes no less the 4-5 days to response to any inquiry or problem that you have. This delay causes so much frustration. Their are products that are more costly but ultimately worth avoiding this headache.
