I am someone with OCD and allergy to dust. As a result, I find the need to clean the house quite regularly. I prefer to clean the house myself and haven't hired any help.I vacuum often but I don't find the time to mop the floor because of two reasons. First, it is quite time consuming. Second, it doesn't really remove all the stains unless you put a little bit of elbow grease to it. So up until I purchased the Steam Cleaner, I used to vacuum multiple times a week but only mop once a week or once every two weeks.Vacuuming alone was enough to keep my dust allergy at bay but didn't leave the place looking clean enough. Any watermarks or dirt that got stuck would still remain after vacuuming. The air too did feel a bit stale even if you let the windows open for a while.I did a lot of research and ended up buying this. The quick heating time was the main reason for choosing this model. I am delighted by the way it works. After vacuuming, I always use the floor attachment to clean the floors and it is able to remove dirt with ease thanks to the steam. After I'm done, the air feels fresh too and the floor looks cleaner than usual. The 1 litre capacity is good enough for a 3 bedroom apartment in my case if used properly. If it does run out, you can always fill more water. I also use it to remove the water stains off taps and even degrease the kitchen top and stove using the attachments provided. Excellent product ! Does what it is supposed to do. Quite compact and easy to handle. Uses very little water.. for about 200 sq. ft floor, it used just about 3 litres of water, for removing dirt at the joints of floor tiles. Steam pressure is good and there is no spillage.I am unhappy about the quality of the accessories though. The Detail nozzle (C2 round brush black) in the first use itself started giving issues. The bristles started tearing apart. Two of the bristle bunches already teared off out of the 8. (Picture posted) Not sure how far the rest would last.The power cord could have been at least 5 m and with auto retract feature.This is my immediate feedback. Will post more detailed feedback once I use it for at least 3 months.

I was a Karcher fanboy ever since I used their vacuum, you can see I have all its home products. Lost count of how many people I have recommended. I ignored the poor reviews posted for this product and was that a mistake!The product outlet has a rubber pipe with a plastic cladding. The rubber expands while the plastic does not which results in the plastic tube breaking under pressure. And this is under once a week use for just 2 months. Images detail the damage, no external damage.I called up the helpline and got the number of a service centre. Went to the service centre and they informed me the breakage is not covered under warranty and I will have to pay Rs. 2600/Rs. 4800. So I wrote an email to Karcher for clarity. The reply was poor which even got my name incorrect. And I got a call from Kerala instead of West Bengal which is my area. I got that fixed and the Kolkata executive said the pipe can be repaired and he'll instruct the service centre to do it. When I called the service centre they declined. I called the Kolkata executive again and he said, he had spoken to the service centre and it will be repaired. I went and gave the product and was informed the product should be ready by the evening.When I called in the evening, the service centre owner started shouting at me saying complaining why had I called when they said they would call. I said my home is an hour drive and so want to know if it will be available today but the service centre person kept shouting. Later at the store he again started abusing me for not having a bill, I said the bill was already submitted the last time but he kept denying. Just then, his staff walked in to say he had the copy of the bill. The service centre owner still did not apologise even then and kept saying its all my fault.I think Karcher products are great but once they develop a fault, their service is completely rubbish. Poor and abusive after-sales has turned a fan into a hater.NEVER BUY KARCHER!

This is the best substitute for traditional mop including spin mop, no more filling bucket, adding cleaner, dragging bucket everywhere, spending 10 mins just spinning that stupid thing etc . This machine is just a one swipe cleaning tool, the telescopic extenders are a perfect length so you don't have to bend too much or put too much force, my back ache has completely stopped while moping. It works well on wall tiles in bathroom with the additional fittings provided.Not very good for glass but that's ok.Go for it it's a one time investment and has a great return in terms of time saving, level of cleanliness and sanitation and no need to use floor cleaners after buying this.

We have lots of furniture at home. But this steam cleaner SC3 works well and with ease. Visible cleanliness can be observed compared to regular spin bucket/mop cleaning. Helps clean corners and kitchen grease with ease. We liked it the most because it does not require detergent.Water hardness setting is important, details are given in user manual. User manual is not that user friendly, but helps understand things fairly well. Good buy overall.

The product didn't even work.Very limited support from helpline.Recommend to avoid if possible.
