Q: We could not figure out how to make this sturdy. It seams unsafe. We would rather not pay to return it. Any ideas on how to make it more sturdy?

I’ve had mine for a year and a half and I’ve never had trouble with it, it’s real sturdy. Maybe somethings defective on yours or it’s not put together right.

Q: how to remove the waste water bottle for emptying the waste water?

Unscrew the bottle,dump and screw back on. Rinse it out first.

Q: What are the 2 different buttons for ?

No. 1 button is for 350watts no. 2 is 300 watts; press them both for 650 watts. I have dreadlocks and I used the 650 watts by pressing both buttons

Q: does this steamer have a auto shut off feature?

Yes has a timer that you can set for up to 30 minutes
