***UPDATE NUMBER 2***I left my original posts so the progression can be viewed. I'm a bit late with this update, but I didn't want to rush it. I wanted to see how the product held up. As you can see below, I was not impressed with the product after some use. The plastic was weak and fell apart quickly. The design had some weak points (a thin bridge across the power button, etc). Well let me say this company has won my husband and I over 100%!!!! They responded to my review where I updated with my displeasure by offering to send me a new product. Initially I did the eye roll of, "yeah sure, send me another of the same crappy product, but I suppose since it's free, it will last me another few months." Not at all the case! They took their customers' feedback and IMPROVED THE PRODUCT! Not too many companies do this. I am super impressed. The plastic is a different composition and they eliminated the weak points! The case now outlasts the phone! I am now a strong lifelong customer. They listen. They make it better. My husband and i got new phones.....so we got new cases from Shieldon. I recommended them to my parents and they both got them. This is not only an excellent product, but an impressive company. This case now holds up even better than I would expect it to. Definitely worth every penny!!!!!***UPDATE***I had to change the stars. I cant in good conscience give it 5 at this point. I'm not sure if there is massive inconsistency in manufacturing or what, but while my husband's case is still going strong, mine fell apart. Mine is typically more protected too because of how I carry it (it's own special purse pocket) vs a pants pocket with high abuse. I noticed with mine that the plastic was oddly brittle. I didn't drop it at all initially, but yet the plastic was breaking down and crumbling at the corners. Within days the piece that bridges over the power button was gone. Within 6 months, 2 of the corners were broken away completely. Then I dropped it. Once. The plastic broke through acrosd the back and was no longer usable. I know dropping it is no reflection of the product (well actually it kind of is since there are plastics that don't break this easily) but my focus is how the plastic just crumbled apart. It was strange. Whats even more strange, is the inconsistencies between two orders of the same phone. It just tells me the manufacturer isn't reliable. So buy at your own risk. Looking through other reviews, there does seem to be quite a gamble of good and bad quality.*original postMy husband bought this for himself since the case he had previously broke at the corner. It was a similar style but different brand and simpler. This case is fantastic. It is supple and soft, elegant, masculine and practical. The stitching is very nice, not all frayed and crappy that you see on cheaper products. The magnet is very useful, particularly when you're on the phone and it is open it stays in place. The piece that actually holds the phone is secure and surrounds the whole phone unlike the one he used to have. The price is most definitely competitive to say the least. A case like this in Best Buy in a different brand would easily be 50 bucks.The only con I can see, is that the front piece with the card pockets is very flat and I could see that any more than one card, the magnet will probably not stick. But I cannot say for sure as we haven't experimented with it yet.Either way, I liked it so much that he ordered one for me! Often times, when we go out, I give him my ID because I don't want to carry around my purse, but I always have my phone....so now I can carry my own ID with my phone. Great for the gym too: I generally have my phone because I listen to music while working out, now I can have my ID with me as well.

Very elegant. I got more compliments for this case than any other I have owned. And I do own a very high end wooden (koa wood) one that costs$130. The quality of the Shieldon wallet case is excellent, the leather is soft and pleasant to the touch, the color is one I personally really like.This is an elegant case for an "elegant user". It is not suitable for someone who is rough on his or her phone as you would scratch the leather or, worse, even cause a tear. If one carries lose keys in his or her pocket together with the phone, this is definitely not for you as the keys can definitely do damage (I know for it happened to me, but it is a minor thing, thankfully). This is a wallet case so it is thicker than most cases. It comes with 3 pockets inside and I find it functional although you need to fold your bills to fit them inside. But it works well for driver's licenses and credit cards. Once you fill the pockets inside, the magnet will not lock the cover. But, really, it is not an issue.It works very well to watch videos, very well conceived with its horizontal standing position.So, all in all this is very nice case, one that uses real leather and that is functional. But it is not suitable for those whose lifestyles are too sporty, i.e., rough on phones. Excellent to take out while wearing a suit or a nice classic watch. Sidenote. I was using it while paying a visit to a local car dealer (a high end brand). The salesperson, after i put the case on the desk started to treat me a lot nicer as I think he associated the case with posh. And even among professionals, several asked to see it and complimented it. So, it is actually a very nice product. Highly recommended, but keep in mind, it is a delicate one and you must handle it with care and respect.

This is my first case ever and I'm loving my Shieldon Genuine Leather Case! The leather is smooth! The color is as advertised. My phone fits snug inside of the case! And I love that it is not bulky! One of the reasons this is my first case is because the others are usually big and bulky. I prefer simple and sleek. This case fits the bill. I also like the fact that I can carry my ID, ATM card, and some cash with me and not necessarily have to carry my purse everywhere I go. I can now leave my purse in the car whenever I have to make a quick stop at the grocery store, attend my kids ball games, track meets, graduations (since it's graduation season). Finally, I purchased the case at the end of March 2017. It is now the end of May 2017 and the case is holding up very well! I expected it to be ripping apart at the fold. It's not. I expected the leather to begin to be worn down. It's not. I'm pretty rough on purses, my phone (w/o case), but this is holding up and I believe it will do so for a while. I have dropped it a couple of times, but no damage was done. One more thing, if you want to use it as a stand to view w/o holding, it does that pretty well also. Not perfect, but good enough. I'm pretty picky and it works for me.
