Durring the day when in and out of my car a bunch it's mostly unnoticeable, but after a night I am always surprised by how fresh my car smells. If the smell of ozone or ionized air bugs you, this isn't for you. I notice it even on my clothes after being in the car for long periods but I like that smell so it is okay for me.UPDATE: This device has been operating 24 hours a day 7 days a week for a couple months now. Still works great, no effect on my car battery, and charges my phone as well. Worth every penny!

My nose often get congested and itchy eyes whenener I stay in air conditioned room for too long. A friend of mine recommend me negative ion purifier and I glad I tried. The purifier is well build and sturdy, and make a little blowing sound which is good knowing it really works! I started using this ion air purifier a week ago and the smoke smell in my car during the city traffic is gone. My breathing have never been this clear and fresh before. I do feel more energy and better mental clarity rhoughout the day, no more brain fogging and allergies for me. Thanks for the great customer service.

I am blessed (or cursed) with three smoker siblings. It has always been a pain traveling with them. My car would often smell of smoke for a couple of days and I REFUSE to use air fresheners. My nose is very sensitive to perfumes and the likes after all. Found this cheap ionic purifier and decided to give it a go. I never believed in this kind of thing which is why I was surprised to find out that this is very effective in cleaning up the smell. I've also noticed a significant reduction in dust. I'm glad to have purchased this!

I was very particular about the air purifier that I was purchasing because there was so many on the market. Having an actual video and showing the smoke disappear definitely proved the efficiency of the purifier. For a lot of the models that are on the internet, it doesn't offer any way to prove if the item is working or not. We also drive a smaller SUV so it was important for me to have more USB outlets which this conveniently provides as well for pretty much the same price as similar purifiers.

First item I got I thought was defective. Plugged in and light would turn on but it would not charge anything I plugged into this device. Assumed product was defective so I got a new one sent but the same thing happened. My personal usb cable was working fine and so was anything else I plugged into that specific power outlet in my car. Left it plugged in overnight for two nights and it did nothing for scent in vehicle. For me it was just a night light. Returned.

This car ionizer works great- I drive for a rideshare company and I needed something to help with the odor elimination and more importantly help quell any viruses or bacteria from spreading. This device has a smooth, sheer finish and is not too thick or bulky. It works very well: the air smells fresher, it feels better to breathe under the mask, and I appreciate the extra line of defense so close to me.**Also, the charger works great, too!

The time to act is pretty slow, I usually do small commute so it does not purify the air fast enough. You are probably better buying a more expensive product for better results. I will buy this if your commute is long.

I guess it’s working. I can’t detect any cigarette smoke from the previous car owner. Short of that I can’t tell if it’s working or not. Little blue light is pretty. I purchased this item to get rid of the smell of stale cigarette smoke and it seems to have accomplished that. Would I buy it again,,,,,I suppose I would. I don’t detect any odd smells or fresh smells.
