I got the product today. I will list the pros and cons.PROS:1. Portable,small,packs a punch in this price segment.2. Sound is crisp .3. Battery life way better than my previous JBL Clip which costed 3.5k.4. Battery looks ok rather average not too shabby.5. Build quality is good.Cons:1. Sound best till 80% of the max volume.2. Charger cable is very small.3. JBL Clip had an inbuilt AUX cable. This one doesnot come with a spare AUX cable. You need to order one for yourself.4.Lacks a memory card reader. This one depends on how you hear your poison, I prefer it via bluetooth , But people who prefer to listen music with their memory card might differ.All in all worth your every money. If your budgest is within 5.5k tops. You wont be disheartened!!!RegardsPritam Sen

Buy if there’s a serious discount
Sound quality is amazing. Gives a great volume and bass. Have to charge it frequently though and it doesn’t charge while playing music. Have handled it pretty rough. Had water splashed on it so many times but still works perfectly.

Excellent product, worth every penny!
Excellent sound quality, and more so with the extra-bass switched on.Realized that this was one of the best-sounding ones after hearing demos of several other makes & models at the local store. The only product that sounded better than XB2 was its elder brother, XB3.Build quality is quite good - it is heavier than it appears. But honestly, we have not really tried splashing water on it or throwing it around!!!Have always been very happy with Sony products (handycam, TV, digicam) in general and this one has been no exception so far, though it's just a month old..Amazon's delivery was timely and the packaging was pretty good.

It is not recommended to place it on flat shelf without any boundaries || Sounds very low when connected through a jack.
The sound quality is mediocre. Too much clarity is annoying for some music. Extra bass sucks for most part of the music directory. The speaker itself vibrates with bass and changes its position with vibrations, it is not recommended to place it on flat shelf without any boundaries, speaker might fall off the edge. People are swooped by marketing and brand name.The speaker started distorting at some notes when highs, mids and lows were to be delivered together.Its better to compromise battery life and some bass notes and go for any JBL speaker which is more soothing and pleasant.Requested replacement. If I`ll be still unsatisfied with the fresh item then I`ll go for a refund.

Good products. Value for Money.
Superb. Good built quality. Very loud at the same time good sound reproduction in low volume also. Rs.2K less than JBL Flip3. JBL never gives warranty for on line purchases. They have only one service centre in Mumbai. Reliability and wide service network were my criteria for going for Sony. I know JBL is slightly better.
