Would buy again!
We are in the desert so this is perfect for my newborn! It is light weight but keeps him just warm enough that I can have my fan on and not sweat. Also it is super cute. I cannot think of one complaint. Washed well also.

for cool nights. This is a summer
This is our go-to sleep sack for warmer nights and it definitely does get softer with each wash. The fabric is too thin, however, for cool nights. This is a summer, not a winter sleep sack. Also, buy the smallest size your child will fit in, as the neck opening being a v-neck means it can bunch around your child's face, especially if you use a Rock N Play for sleeping, as we did to start with our baby.

Nice lightweight sleep sack for the summer
Nice and lightweight for the summer months. After a few washes however, there is a small hole in the seam where the material meets the zipper, towards the bottom of the sack. I could prob sew it easily but I never got around to it and it didn’t grow in subsequent washes. He’s pretty much outgrown it now though so I’m not going to worry about it.

Poor muslin quality and zipper only one-way
Really wanted to try a muslin sleep sack and Halo gets top marks in reviews. The muslin bunched up around the zipper after machine washing and the fabric no longer lies flat. Furthermore the zipper one zips top to bottom, unlike how Summer Infant used to make them with 2-way zippers. Kept it because the thickness/weight and size are good, but won't be buying any more of this.

Huge, poor quality
UPDATE:My baby started sleeping in this sleep sack last week. It has been washed twice, once before she wore it and once after. It has never been put in the dryer. Today I went to put it on her before a nap and see that the zipper is already separating from the fabric. I am including some pictures of this and also changing my rating from 3 to 1 star. For the amount paid this product should have lasted much longer. The zipper was only held on to the fabric with a single straight stitch and obviously not that well attached. Poor quality!!!Original review:This sleep sack is HUGE! I bought a small for my 14# baby and she is swimming in it. I held it up to my body and if the arm holes were bigger I could wear it as a baggy shirt. The quality is average and I feel this product overpriced at $18. I only chose this since she rolls over onto her stomach and putting her in a regular swaddle with arms out didn't make sense anymore. I do like the fact that the zipper seems to move pretty easily and the material is not too heavy. I will keep it for when she gets bigger and hopefully get some use out of it then. I wouldn't recommend this sleep sack unless your baby is bigger or you find it on sale.

Love HALO sleep sacks!
Love this sleep sack. It is a thin, muslin material. It has held up through many many washes. The only thing that bothers me, is the zipper is loud. Sometimes, I have to put this on a sleeping baby and the zipper will wake her. Overall, this is a must buy for any baby, especially during the warmer summer months.

Great option for warmer days.
This is great for afternoon naps when the house is a bit warmer than at night. It's well made and I've had no issues with the zipper.

Great option in muslin but not quite durable enough
I love Halo sleepsacks in general and both of my daughters have worn them and my youngest still does. I used this particular one in muslin for my baby for the summer. She loves to wear sleepsacks no matter the temperature so these were a good option on warmer days. I feel like the sizing is large in general so my daughter wore these up to 11 mos in the size small and still had room. This was almost perfect except my daughter kicked a hole right into the bottom corner! Her whole toe wiggled right out. It's a rip right above the seam so I can't sew it easily. I used it for about 3 months with no issues and at least it's the end of the summer but I am still disappointed. My daughter wiggles and rolls around a lot and kicks her feet against the crib but I am sure she's not the only baby that does so. This particular sleepsack needs to be a little more durable for this but maybe that's not possible with the muslin.
