Marvo Scorpion Dark Night Blacklight K636 Gaming Keyboard (Black)

Review after 2 weeks of purchasing.The keyboard is nice overall. The keys are very smooth and perfect to type on or play games with. You get used to the placement of the keys after a few days. The light effect is nice and matches my mouse color. The overall look is grungy/hardcore but it doesn't matter too much.Now for the downside, the backlights don't always work. Sometimes you have to plug the USB out and then plug it back in for the lights to work. In my case, some of the keys are slightly withered, so its clear that someone else had used the keyboard before me and returned it. It doesn't matter too much to me so long as the keyboard works well.That's about it.Edit: Using this keyboard for 9 months now. Still works perfectly. Changed from 4 to 5 stars.

This is a budget back lit keyboard. Although the blue light is not very bright, the red and violet light are sufficient to make the characters clearly visible in a dark room. Keep in mind that when the back light is turned off the characters etched on the keys are not well visible so one may have to keep the back light on whenever using the keyboard, even during the day.There are 3 levels of brightness, although I keep it on maximum always; and 3 luminous modes.There are extra lights on the sides and bottom of the keyboard which make it look really cool.Interestingly it also has 7 drain holes for any accidental liquid spillage and the media keys up top are useful for quick access.As for the actual keys, the key route is on par with keyboards of this price bracket and the key press is soft.For the current available price it is difficult to go for any other keyboard if back lighting is a necessity. The Marvo K636 checks all the right boxes and keeps the price at a pocket friendly level.Its only probable competitor (in Amazon.in only) is the Tecknet X861 Kraken which however is over 50% more expensive.For non backlit options there are a few choices but the K636 is the best bargain at its own category right now.

Quick delivery by amazon, however, the rating in purely on the product. Some points to note when buying the keyboard:-1) under 1,100 this is then only backlit keyboarb2) The alphabets aren't visible when backlit is off but I don't see a reason to trun off the backlit unless you're watching a movie.3) Backlit is on the dimmer side4) Plastic feels cheap5) Anti-ghosting is resourcefulFor people who wouldn't play at night I would recommend not to go for this. For the nocturnal creatures on a budget this is the only backlit keyboard under 1,100/-

One of the worst keyboards i have ever used-although it has pretty good build quality and a wide array of multimedia buttons,its backlight is way too dim that renders it virtually unusable-even at the highest brightness level most of the keys are poorly lit and one has to strain their eyes to see them properly.Also some of the keys are lit only partially and therefore the characters that are printed on them are not clearly visible(unless one positions his eyes directly above the keyboard,which is impracticable under normal circumstances).I was so disappointed after buying it that i was compelled to sell if off at a loss and buy a no-frills HP K1500 keyboard which,despite not having any fancy features is much more convenient to use as compared to this worthless product.Avoid at all costs!!

Best keyboard at this price. Bought it on January 20 2017. To this date ( June 28 2020 ), it's still working perfectly. Can't get anything better than that :)

Got this in the lightning deal and I must say it is a good value for money.Pro:-1) Soft keys but it has a satisfactory mechanical key which makes it good for gaming and typing2) Awesome led back light3) Good for budget pc gaming build upCons:-1) Back light doesn't illuminate the entire keys making it a bit difficult to read them2) Keys can be hardly seen without the glowAll in all it is an excellent keyboard for budget gaming.

Writing a review it's after using it for a while. The back light is not powerful enough as cannot see the keys when sitting at an angle when the keyboard is kept on a higher surface. The backlight is only well visable when the keyboard is kept on a low surface or of you look at it when it's exactly below your face.
