Holds air but runs small and only available on one size apparently. I wear a woman's 2X or 3X shirt and the strap was too tight around my waist with air in the vest. Fits between my legs fine though.

Nice looking and ok when face down (horizontal) but there is no crotch strap and the back does not tighten like a life jacket does. It instead has a strap that goes around your back and the mesh panel just has loops that go around the strap. So when you are verticle and treading water (when you really need the vest) it rides up terribly! I messed around with it in the pool before my vacation and glad I did. One of the strap loops already started ripping. We ended up not even using snorkel vests and were ok without them although if u are not a strong swimmer, I'd highly recommend getting something. Even a pool noodle would help. Also, it is very hard to vent the air out of this type of vest so forget diving down to look at something. I'd recommend going to a dive shop if you plan on snorkeling in the open ocean and spending a little more. (or just use a couple of pool noodles! :)

This vest worked great for the first hour. My 80lbs Autistic daughter was proudly swimming on her own wearing this vest😂😂😂. It has the straps going around the waist and in between the legs. Then about an hour later we notice bubbles coming from the SEAMS and the vest started deflating😤. It looks and feels like quality materials were used but IT LEAKS. I searched long and hard for a product that'll work for Autistic people and finally decided on this one. Guess I'll keep searching or use Flex seal glue around the seams.

I just received my order. There has been a lot of comments, confusion, regarding the crotch straps. I myself was not sure if the product will come with crotch straps which are very important. The product comes with legs straps for both legs to keep the vest in place. The product does not have a crotch strap. The advertisement needs to be corrected. I have not used the vest, but I am a frequent snorkeler, scuba diver … I will provide a review after my first usage and hopefully the company will contact me for this informative review … " maybe send me some free promotional items ". In my opinion, from the way it looks, the vest should work perfectly, high quality, because I was really looking for a better version than the cheap rental yellow vest. I did not sink... lol! I bought this for snorkeling. It done great. Then my mom in law who doesn't swim well stole it and used it the rest of our vacation. Next year I have to buy her one.

Instructions were incomplete. They mentioned the leg straps but did not discuss how to use them. I was not sure if the suit I received did not have the necessary leg straps or if we were not using it properly. It made my wife nervous and she declined to use the life vest for snorkeling. The vest itself seemed fine but we ended up not using using it.

I ordered 3 of these vests and they work quite well for kayaking. It is nice to deflate it between rapids and not have the bulk. My only complaint is that it has a tendency to ride up and irritate your neck. The leg straps help, but one of the vests did not ship with leg straps.

Life vest arrived today but is missing the listed leg/crotch straps. It only includes a waist strap and 1 side of buckle to attach other straps. I need this for a trip this weekend so I will try it out but fill with less air. Seems like a good product otherwise, color as expected, easy to inflate/deflate with tube, smooth material. But I am disappointed it doesn't match the description, as the missing pieces will make it more difficult to use. And I would have picked on that does include the straps.
