Bestop
If you're reading this you most likely already know about Bestop. They're the benchmark for tops and accessories. More importantly, if you ever have a problem or need a replacement part for a Bestop problem they'll take care of you. These upper doors with glass sliders cut down on the noise and are far more convenient than plastic windows. Installation and removal is no different than the fabric versions and only takes a minute. Highly recommend.

Upgrade from full zips
Great windows! Only con is that they did leak in heavy rains. But it’s a Jeep with a soft top so it’s almost expected. I would buy these again!

Way better!
I bout my '98 Wrangler SE used in AZ. I couldn't see out the windows anymore because of how damaged they were. I'm now living in CA where it actually gets breezy in the evenings so I have to have my windows up. I also work on a military installation where I have to be opening and closing my window daily. These upper doors are AMAZING and much more convenient than the sun damaged zip-up ones that I originally had. They open on both sides, left to right or right to left so it's equally convenient to quickly show my ID to get on base or to fix my mirror. I received and installed them on a rainy night. Took them for a quick drive and didn't experience leaks. Granted, the quick drive was barely 5min but it hasn't rained since to really test them. The seal on my top is good, more sealed than the zip-ups I used to have. What I love the most is that it's more noise canceling. It eliminated the loud constant ringing of the zippers clashing. The only downside icould see is that since it opens on both ends, you can only open the window half way at the most so when you go through a drive through, the space is limited to retrieve your order. The way I see it, it'll only be an issue depending on how frequently you eat out at drive through and the size of your orders. Also, the doors do wobble a bit when they're open but that's just because they're obviously slightly heavier at the top. Nothing alarming.

Pay attention to the small details before you buy used items.
This door was not only used, it was as broken.

These are awesome
Same great quality as my original uppers, with the added value of having glass sliding windows instead of a plastic zip up window. These came well packaged and were ready to go out of the box. I've had them on the jeep for about 6 months now and still love having them. You can slide the glass panels forward or backward which is great since you can really change the air flow and flow patterns by opening a forward and a backwards panel to get the air flow you want. There's no air leakage when they are fully closed. There is less wind noise than the soft windows as you might expect. The only downside i can point out is they are heavier than the stock soft upper doors which makes them a little more cumbersome to take off. I'm also more worried about breaking them when they are out since they do have glass panels. I kept my old uppers just in case i wanted to through them in the back while i'm out which seems to be a good trade off.

Older versions were better
A bit disappointed with the newer design. After maybe a year the back half of the window constantly pops out of it's track. The old version I had for atleast 15 years worked great and had a screw dead center to keep the slide in its track. The newer version doesn't have it.

Best decision I ever made!
Driving my Wrangler while using stock hard doors with windows down for fresh air even down a little bit, the wind blows directly into my face causing lots of wind and road noise. These Bestop Black Denim Sliding Window Uppers, completely eliminate all that!I can drive with my slider windows open the down the road at higher speeds with no irritating distractions.Only negative I found was, visiting a drive through bank or fast-food restaurant, the slider window pass-through access is limited.Easier just to get out of the Jeep!

Bestop Upper Door Sliders--Great!
Someone recommended I get a full replacement door with the roll-up windows in them for loads of money. That would bring my Jeep close to being a "Car". I don't want a car... I want to pull the door tops off the doors in the summer, remove the doors altogether if I want... and still go to McDonalds for a large ice cream cone and be able to take it through the window without unzipping anything. These are wonderful... GREAT! I had them both on within 3 minutes of pulling them out of the box... nothing to do but put them in--no tools. Nice frame around the window... well build solid product. Get these and you won't be sorry.Lubricate the window runners with some silicone lubricant so they slide easy. Becareful about taking your seat belts off... let them go and let the metal end hit the window and they will shatter into little 1/4" cubes! I have hit the window a few times with the metal buckle... tempered glass... very durable.Note... the best price I could find all over the net was right here on Amazon (consider shipping in your final price). Also, lock your doors... these tops can be stolen in 2 seconds flat if you leave your doors unlocked. One downside... the runner is not all that well designed and so moving the window glass in the runner can be awkward. If you loose one of the 3 screws that hold the runner in place the glass can fall. Replacing the screw and getting it to tight will make the glass hard to move. Still haven't figured out this part of it... the only problem. No leakage and I have had it over a couple of years now... hard rains... even a hurricane or two and no leakage. I just knocked off a star... 5 to 4 stars because of the runner design.
