Expensive - but it works
Very nice suspension stem - purchased two Suntour SP12 NCX stems for two bikes. Easy to install and fits well. The stems require adjusting spring tension for body weight. For correct adjustment the post should compress slightly when you sit on the seat. We combined the Suntour SP12 NCX suspension seat posts with ultra cushy spring suspension seats for a truly amazing luxury ride on our cruiser e-bikes. Only complaint is the price - a tad expensive.

Very good addition to my Hardtail bike
This is a real butt saver. It makes writing much more pleasant since my bike doesn’t have any suspension and the Saddle Was not very comfortable. I combined this with a cloud nine seat and my butt is very grateful.

Seems to run slightly large, you might want one size smaller. Does a great job once fitted!
I purchased this for my Aventon Pace 500.2 and am really happy with the performance. No more needing to stand up out of the saddle to keep my back happy! Sizing was an issue. I made sure to double check the specs from both Aventon, and Suntour in choosing a size for my bike. It ended up being slightly too large. A simple return, and I purchased the next size down. If you have a pair of calipers I would sugest you use them to check your sizing.

Night & Day Difference - Must Buy!
This suspension seatpost was a game-changer on my RadWagon 4. After 12,000+ miles on my longtail cargo bike without suspension, I finally invested in a quality Brooks saddle, and decided to get this seatpost as well. As a 6'6 rider, the suspension part of the seatpost added more height, which also fixed a bending issue I had with my previous seatpost. This seatpost changed everything! Bumps, potholes, curb dips and more feel like clouds. I'm taking this thing on a bumpy trail near me that I was frequently slowing to 3mph on at parts to give it a run for its money. I had initial concerns about the seatpost messing up my leg extension, however it's not an issue at all. My friend with a front-fork bike tried it and immediately said he knew what his next upgrade was. Dare I say this is comparable to full-suspension bikes, at least in street conditions.

This is perfect for my old 180 lbs butt
It was this or the rubber band competitor at a reasonable price point, or the best and unreasonable choice at $250. Then I saw pictures of the rubber band one snapped off, along with replacing bands frequently. So I went with good spring engineering and I'm very happy with its performance. I imagine eventually they will have an airshock seat post so until then we get springers.Out of the box it was setup perfect for my 180lbs. Sitting down it preloads a bit, and it makes all the little road bumps disappear while I ride. The only negative I can think of is, the seat needs to be pushed all the way forward to get back in its original position because the seat suspension cantilevers to the rear. They all do this, so its a wash with all manufacturers.I'm happy, its doing just what I want, pretending I have full suspension without costing a fortune.

No improvement in my ride
I wanted a suspension post that improved the comfort of my bike ride. What I got was the same stiff, back-jarring, butt-bruising ride I had before I spent $200 on two of these suspension posts. I had looked on YouTube for recommendations and this one was highly recommended. So much for YouTube. Then, if that wasn't bad enough, I forgot to return the darn things and now I'm stuck with them!!!

Very well build and works very well.
This post is easy to install and I have had it for over a month. I ride almost every day. Other reviewers have mentioned that the bicycle seat rail and the articulating arms of the suspension mechanism may rub against each other and cause damage. I can see that could happen as the clearance is not that much. However, I do not ride on rough terrain; just city roads and managed trails so I guess the movement is not that much that it has caused me any problems so far. Just be mindful and adjust your seat rails properly and wrapping the suspension mechanism with the included cover should prevent any damage. In any case, compared to other suspension seat posts, you can almost buy two of these so in the long run, it's still a good choice even in terms of price and value. I would recommend but not for very rough terrain in my opinion.

Omfg buy this now! Amazing!
This is an absolute game changer for any rigid or front suspension bike! Makes the ride much smoother and almost feels like you have full suspension for small drops, bumps, etc. Buy it, you'll love it.

Easy install, set up, and overall works well.
Smooths out a 1 hour commute to work then again home each day. Handles lots of pavement breaks, patches, potholes along the way as well as ups and downs on ramps on and off bike paths.

Excellent on aventure 2
It is super good on Aventon Aventure 2.After I inflated from 10 to 20 PSI to increase range , the bike was too hard , kicking like a horse. I had a bad back fo a week before I installed this one in 2 minutes. It's like my 4 inch fat tire has 5 PSI pressure. So soft on humps and bumps.Expensive though !
