The paints didn’t come damaged nor did any leak during shipping, I needed specific skin tone colors that my local craft store did not have. The paint is good, for the price, I think some agitator balls would be extremely helpful. Either way, the colors are good, and just what I needed. I’d recommend shaking the heck out of the bottles before use, because the colors will not show as they are intended.

I’ve been struggling with humanoid skin colors for my miniatures - they keep looking very grey. So I looked for skin tone paint and found this - gosh, I should have bought this years ago. It’s great! I’ve also used the colors for hair and it looks good. Skintones in photos are from these paints, as well as the blonde and black hair.

I've used two different shades now, and with both I was worried. The wet color looks nothing like it should, but it dries to the correct shade, so trust it.Good cost effective set to have on hand if you ever do figures or busts. Getting skin tone right without purpose mixed paints is damn tricky, and this makes it a breeze.

Absolutely nothing to dislike here. This is a wonderful collection of paints for depicting the skin colors of humans of all sorts. In addition to the excellent selection of colors representing people of many different races, the paints also mix easily and thoroughly, providing for the slight variations to be found in tan, tone and the like to be found in any group of people. The boxed set also includes a professionally printed, very detailed, step-by-step guide to painting the faces. To help prevent other hobbyists from suffering the same sort of feelings of inadequacy and failure that plagued me after my first attempts, I wholeheartedly can recommend that beginning and moderately skilled painters concentrate primarily on meeting the overall goals (the 'spirit') of each step, rather than trying to follow each one of them -exactly- as written. Hopefully, it then might serve more as the great how-to reference for you and other miniaturists it should be, rather than the mocking, you'll never be this good, rub-it-in example in high definition photos of the skills of a painter so much greater than I could be, ever. At least the pictures are still nice to look at... :-)

Very easy to mix, blend, and use. Does not leave brush marks. Covers completely with one coat. Comes with all colors needed for pale to dark skin and shadows and highlights.

Hope all my future order of paint will not dry up like this one, or buy from the local hobby store instead.
