I bought this for my daughter’s sixth birthday. All she wanted was a locket. It broke within two hours of opening. She was not rough with it, she simply opened the locket to put a photo inside. Such a disappointment!

Broke quickly. It's only been a month since my daughter started using it. The locket will no longer shut to close.Revised review: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! My daughter loves this necklace so I will hope the new one lasts longer and will update this review accordingly!Revised: I received a new one as promised and it has held up! Very disappointed. Chain looks very cheap. Description said “a girl’s necklace” this is not for a girl. More for an adult. I will not be able to give this to my niece.I Wanted to return it and found message that this item is not returnable. I wasn’t aware of a no return policy. Guess I didn’t read all of the fine print. Never felt I had to in all of many many purchases.

I bought this necklace for my three year old granddaughter. It is definitely for a child I want to give her something when her brother was born. It has a pic of her and I so she'd never forget how special she is. Her little hands can open the locket just find. Very pleased with this for a child!

gold plating came off immediately and it was silver colored underneath. left green marks on skin. unusable as it is now.

Ordered as a gift for a friend. I put #1 per the personalization instructions in order to have a heart engraved on it. Instead they literally put #1. Like what? The lettering on the back though is so lightly engraved my friend said she thinks eventually it could be rubbed away. The front of it also looks pretty bad. It looks as if it was held on its side and like melted down on the front part of the design. It doesn’t look like the advertised picture really at all. The pictures I put aren’t doing it justice. I don’t reccomend this product. I would return it if it wasn’t too complicated to return since the girl I had it sent to is stationed in Texas and i’m in Georgia.

We bought this to show my daughter the value of her allowance. She typed in the keywords undertale and this came up. This is not the locket featured in the classic I'm Just So Stories, however my daughter is very please! She wouldn't take it off. However, the chain is not very durable, so if you decide to give to somebody below the age of 14 or so make sure to put a hefty or chain on it! Otherwise, it holds pictures and it is a beautiful locket for the money.

I ordered this locket with a personalized engraving on the back and picked a personal photo to go in it so when it arrived ask i had to do was put it on. It was perfect. The picture of me and my husband fit perfectly (you have to make sure when you choose a picture that you position it perfectly and it'll give you that option at checkout) and the engraving was correct. So far it holds up just fine. I like the chain, but I have my own. I don't know if I can wear it in the shower or if the picture will mess up but I'm not willing to chance it. So you may want to take it off before showering or swimming. It is a little bigger then I thought, but it's still beautiful and I really like it.

My husband ordered this for his mother for Christmas. We wanted to give her a locket that had a picture of our son in it. She really enjoys jewelry and sentimental gifts.For such a cheap price we should have known that it wasn’t going to be the best quality. We knew it wasn’t actual silver but for some reason it looks a little better quality in the photos online. It’s a nice necklace but it looks cheap.I wish we would have given this to her on a random Tuesday and not as her official Christmas present but that was our fault. I think this locked is better suited for a young girl.

This locket and chain are nice, but (as other reviewers commented) the locket is larger than expected. If not for the locket size, I would have given it 5 stars. The rose gold plating seems to be well applied and the detail and appearance are far better than anticipated. I purchased several as gifts for Christmas, and I'm sure they'll be well received. It's hard to find a locket that's reasonably priced, and they are often plated. The true test will be how the plating holds up over a period of time.

This thing is so cheap and doesnt have a guide for you to assist cutting pictures to fit inside. The metal feels more cheap than immitation silver. Don't buy it.

I received my order within two business days and I am so happy with it! I was a little hesitant of purchasing when I read reviews saying that it was a tad large, but to me, it is perfect! I bought it so I could put a picture of my grandmother in it who passed away two years ago. I plan on wrapping the locket on my wedding bouquet so I can have her with us on our special day. Even though there are other lockets for cheaper, spending a little more on this is worth it. The quality is phenomenal, the weight of it is very light, and you get exactly what you see in the picture. It came in a beautiful little jewelry box and they really took the extra care in packaging so that it wouldn't get ruined during shipping. When I showed my fiance the locket, he even commented on how beautiful it was and for the price, it is so worth it! This is my very first purchase on amazon and I am loving it!
