Hi Jeff! We agree with StewNYC that the O-Duster was born to love your floors, however; we will pass the idea for a Battle Royale Death Match power pack to our R&D department. We see a lot of office melees in our future!

Q: what happens if a 14 pound cat sat on it, would it just stop?

Unfortunately, the O-Duster does not have the ability to wheel around your 14 pound cat. We do feel that it could provide your hamster a ride, but only if you could train your hamster to sit still in a shark costume during the process.

This stops everywhere.....chairs, table legs, walls, rugs. It doesn't lie perfectly flat on the edges and fails to make a clean sweep.

Q: What is the life of the Robotic Floor Cleaner pads if washed

I wash mine in a mesh bag when I wash bath rugs. I used and washed them three times before I decided they were no longer coming clean enough to use again. I also flipped them over - dusted two rooms, turned the pad over, did another two rooms. Just light dusting, though.
