Simple Storage Solution
Carrying essential bike tools and, in my case first aid gear, in a water bottle cage is a good solution when you don't have room for a seat post mounted gear bag. I use my bike strictly to get around an apartment complex and don't need a bunch of road repair gear. I do need first aid gear, though, if I fall or get injured. I'm over 60 you see, and injury is always a possibility. I carry a bike repair multi-tool, tire levers, tube patches, bandaids, and emergency contact info. This bottle storage system, as they call it, is durable and secure. Nice, snug lid. Snaps and locks into place in a regular water bottle cage. As for the "divided compartments," the bottle has a white cup-size insert for small, loose items, or to use as a drinking cup at a water fountain for instance. Overall size and capacity is smallish to medium, but perfect for the essentials needed on short rides.

I bought this because I needed something that could hold everything I need. I train and race 70.3 and 140.6s. So I carry the following and this bottle is perfect. (Two 700x23c butyl tubes with valve extenders for Flo 60\90 wheels, two CO2s, 1 adapter, photo copy of drivers license, mini USAT card, some cash, one tire lever and some latex gloves. The little divider is nice for keeping cash in it. I zip tied a Profile Design Kage to the back of my seat. I wanted something tucked in behind me, aero and cheap.I've ridden on some bumpy roads and the lid stays on and the bottle stays in the cage.

Great function if you don't use both of your water bottles for water.
Nice idea. Works well. Only complaint is that it has a narrowing like a regular water bottle to allow the cage to hold it in place. The neck makes it harder to stow tools and tubes. Since it is not used as a water bottle it could be asymmetrical and have an indent on one side with no narrowing all around making it much more functional, that would be worth 6 stars.

Love It
Love this storage container. I didn't like having all of my supplies crammed in a saddle bag that had to be expanded. Bought this to store a spare tube, two CO2 cartridges, 5 mm Allen wrench, tire patch kit, inflator, and complete folding Allen wrench set. These are things I hopefully won't need often. I use a small saddle bag for my personal items like cell phone, keys, sunglasses, etc. Fits perfectly in a standard water bottle holder.

Fits perfect.
Works perfect. I put the usual tools, patch kit and a spare chain in this. I ride way out away from help so need lots of tools and didn't want a saddle bag. This gets the heaviest stuff low on the frame. Since I use a hydration pack on the mtb this is a perfect use of the bottle cage for me. I didn't use the little cup inside. to prevent rattling I stuffed a couple of paper towels into the lid so they will be there to clean up after I use the tools if I breakdown. The lid stays on tight. I don't think it would be waterproof submerged but OK so far for stream crossings, splashes and bike washing

Awesome option for storing a bike repair kit, tools, tubes, etc
I never liked those saddle bags. The bike gets that ugly look, it takes some time to transfer it from one bike to another (unless you have one saddle bag + tool kit for every bike - I have 2 road + 1 triathlon bikes), and the velcro always find a way to ruin your shorts/bibs.So I tried this storage bottle, and I couldn't be happier. Super easy to accommodate everything you may need on the road, and super fast to transfer from one bike to another. Perfect for weekdays and/or shorter rides. I have lot of stuff in mine (tubes, multi-tool, levers, micro-air pump, repair kit, CO2 cartridges, some emergency money, etc).Just for long rides you would probably rather have 2 bottles of water instead...

Excellent repair kit carrying idea.
This is a great storage idea. It weights the same as my small saddlebag, but holds more. I now have a 1st Aid kit and a tire repair kit with me at all times. Plus, this keeps the weight down lower than a saddle bag. Love it !
