A little pricey but a great investment.
My fish does not get freezer burt anymore. Hamburger and steak still look red after two months in freezer.Saves you money in the long run, by saving you food from going bad.

Powers through the idiocy and simps to give you a good seal on food!
Once you read the directions and learn how to use this machine properly, it seems to do its job just fine. I got mine today as a gift and I fired it up and the only complaint that I have is that there are no real specifications in it. It is as if Foodsaver has dumbed down this model (maybe others too?) so you do not know how long or wide something is. I guess there are just too many idiots on the internet giving poor reviews because they have to mod everything or they do not know the sizes of sealers etc etc. Is this a vacuum chamber sealer? No, so Liquids will be a bit tricky. Is it cooled down by twin fans? No. So you have to wait 20 seconds or it just will overheat on you. BUT IF YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS YOU WILL KNOW THIS. This unit has performed flawlessly now for about 20 bags. I THINK it should be able to handle the Gallon bags that are 11" x 16" but I have not tried some of those others that are for sale on Amazon just yet. I THINK it even came with some, but I have not used those yet. I know I found some vacuum ziplock bags inside it, and the roll was not installed, but the roll I think is 11" wide. the sealer might be a 12" sealer, I should have measured before I sat down to type this. When I get new bags in I will update this review on how it handles the 11x16 bags that Amazon has from O2 Freaks or Avid or whomever... I think it should be fine. This is a great sealer for Sous Vide. Also, get that optional box of accessories that allow you to seal mason jars too. I did not have a chance to use that yet but it looks like it could be good. Maybe even prevent the jars from floating when you make Sous Vide Egg Bites in those 4 oz mason jars.

Used ? From Blinq ?
I was very disappointed in this purchase for the reason that nowhere in the description did it say that this unit was USED, a return from bed bath and beyond - the shipping papers were in the box - and shipped from Blinq - update ; I ordered another unit that was delivered today - totally different machine ! Did I mention that this was supposed to be a wedding gift , and they were specific about the model they wanted ? I can’t find it locally so I’m at the mercy of the internet venders- not a happy camper !

Perfectly good machine but price here way too high
Right now this is listed as $229, but its at Target, Bed bath and Beyond, and other places for between $130-$150. $229 is kind of absurd. Machine itself is fine, I got strong seals and it works sealing for an hour straight, no problems.

Less is More
Of three Foodsaver's I've owned... for 20 years (?) this is my favorite. I'll start off by stating that it's major detraction >is< the 'lessor' roll capacity, limited to about 20'. I buy 50' rolls off of Amazon and spool what will fit onto saved roll-cores, so it's not a big deal to me.But here are the major advantages over, say the automatic FM4400. #1: Faster. The FM4400 made you wait ~30secs after melting a seal to melt another seal. With the FM360, there's no wait. #2: Less waste. I'm able to cut the bags 1/4-1/2 inch less - that's about 1-2' per 50' roll. #3: The FM360 exposes all functions by lifting the lid, so it's fractionally easier to clean than pulling out a drawer (FM4400). I prefer the manual over automatic Foodsavers. The accessory nozzle works the same.

Terrible design
I asked if it had a slide for cutting the rolls and was assured that it did, which wasn't dishonest. But the cradle for rolls is ridiculously small. I'm glad I didn't throw out my old one.

Beware, not for Australian households!
This product was of no use to us. It was an American product that cannot be used in Australia. To make matters worse, I am still waiting in my refund. Not a good experience at all.
