could this be used for airsoft?
I would like to know if it wopuld be for mid range or long range?

You DO NEED the extension if you using a mobius
Product is very sturdy and well-built the only thing is if using a Mobius you DO NEED to use the extension. Also I wish it came with the screw to lock zoom camera in place, or at least tell you what size screw you need.
