How do you install the cutout? My exhaust has straight pipes, no muffler

A section of the exhaust pipe has to be cut out. Then weld in a y pipe in its place. This cutout will then get bolted on to the remaining section of the y.

You have a 2 way toggle switch to open and close. You have to hold it until it is open, or closed. It's not an open closed button.

What is the measurement between each of the 3 bolts. Is the 2.5 inch cutout and 3 inch cutout the same 3 bolt pattern? Does only the center change?

I would not get this. I went through 2 of them in less than a year. And ended up taking it off
