I've got tiny Pip Squeaks.
Planted indoors June 1st and will be potting up seedlings July 16th.I'm zone 3, so I will let them stay indoors until they develop a good root system.Love these plants. I've had wonderful success with the seed from Outsidepride. If you can't get anything to grow, maybe you should consult Maria Thun's Almanac, chances are the problem is not the seed.

You will get almost NOTHING for your effort!
Do yourself a favor and just call your local nursery to buy Bergenia plants. Giving birth to babies is easier than this! (Okay... not really... but I want to impress on you that sprouting these seeds is a very difficult feat to accomplish.)I bought a multi-slot container of potting soil to germinate the seeds. I kept them moist with a sprayer EVERY DAY, kept them in my temperature-steady laundry room right under a skylight. This was described as the perfect growing situation. After many weeks of this CONSTANT care, 14 out of 200 of these have sprouted. You need a magnifying glass to see the tiny tiny tiny two leafed sprout - and it will be a miracle (truly) if it ever becomes a plant.Today I called around to garden centers and found 4" pots of these for $4 each. I drove over and bought 10. Believe me - unless you're into HUGE effort with almost NO return, don't waste your time.

Outstanding quality
Bought these with a little apprehension after reading other reviews but am very happy that I did. If you follow the directions and do not bury the seeds you will get great results. Every seed germinated and they are doing great. Started them in the house so they should be ready to transplant in the spring.
